Brief details of present main duties/responsibilities of your post Academic & Administrative Responsibilities: Teaching at undergraduate and graduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Department. Engage in the broader scholarly and professional communities. Supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate and graduate research projects. Contribute in the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum. Assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance. Participates in the departmental and faculty seminars aimed at sharing research outcomes and building interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the department. Participates in the administration and marking of exams and other assessments. Providing pastoral care and support to students.

Participates in the administration of the departments programs of study and other activities as requested. Contribution in departmental, faculty working groups or committees as requested. Maintain own continuing professional development. Actively follow and promote KIU policies. Management of faculty hiring, orientation and training programs.
