A Note from Donna

Members,
Our September meeting promises to be an exciting one!! We will be having our Annual Quilt Challenge "Welcome to the Movies" with all of our invited guests voting on the Viewer's Choice and 2 runner's up. We will be holding a "Stash for Cash" event to assist with our treasury as well as help members clear out their sewing rooms and make room for new things, and we will be having our speaker Amy Windsor giving a lecture. We need members for all sorts of things for the evening to be the huge success I know it can be. Everything from set up to take down, publicity and invitations, and hospitality and greeting our guests. Please help out your board of directors and fellow quilt guild members and plan on taking on a task. This guild will only be successful with the participation of all of it's members. The board and I are excited to assist in the vision and direction that the members want to take the guild, but we can't do it alone! All ideas and input are always welcome.
