For classroom use, you could alter the rules: The loser earns a letter "L", goes to the end of the line, taking the last number, and then everyone else moves up one space, taking the number of the person that vacated that spot. This makes the game more interesting because students have new numbers every time someone loses. If someone loses a second time, they now have a letter "I". The first one to spell LIMN is out. This is more challenging but it would be good for upper level classes.
