Industry Experience and Internships


1. Internship with Shell (2010): The project was to generate Time lapse seismic attribute from reservoir models and quantify the difference between simulated and predicted model. 2. Internship with Shell (2011): synthetic VSP imaging and AVO analysis in a walkway synthetic VSP. 3. One and a half year full time experience as a Geophysicist in an Exploration and Production Company in India. 4. One month Internship as a Full time trainee in Oil Company on acquisition and interpretation in India.

Research Goal:
Time-lapse shear wave imaging and AVO analysis using walkaway VSP data to separate the effects of temperature and saturation in thermal EOR field in Oman (Shell sponsored). Advisor: Prof Robert.
