BURNISHING
The Burnisher pencil is a hard colourless pencil which, when used over layers of pigment o ers a rich polished nish.

BLENDING

The Blender pencil is a soft colourless pencil made from the binder used for coloured pencils to combine layers of pigment to produce subtle blends of colour.

BURNISHING 1 Apply the burnisher over the pencil to keep the layered colour unchanged. This removes the tooth of the paper and seals the colour with a heavy layer of wax. 2 Ideal for creating sparkling glass, polished surfaces, and metals. Burnishing pushes the pigment into the paper and leaves a very well blended, photo like nish. It makes the colours look brighter and can give an image a polished or re ective look. They smooth out the grain of the paper and accentuate the brightness of the pencils.

BLENDING 1 A technique of applying two or more colours in layers to create a new colour. 2 Physically mixing and smoothing colours so that individual strokes are more evenly blended together.

Utilisez le crayon mlangeur pour crer un e et de couches lgrement fondues et pour runir les couleurs.

La matita per sfumare una matita morbida incolore contenente il legante normalmente usato nella produzione delle matite colorate. Quando si stende sul disegno, amalgama strati di pigmento per produrre delicate sfumature di colore.

SFUMATURA 1 Tecnica che prevede lapplicazione di due o pi colori a strati per creare una nuova tonalit. 2 Tecnica caratterizzata dalla miscelazione sica dei colori per amalgamarli insieme e ottenere una sfumatura pi uniforme dei singoli tratti di matita. La matita per sfumare usata per amalgamare e fondere insieme singoli strati di colore. Questa tecnica rende i colori molto luminosi e vividi. Con la matita per sfumare possibile amalgamare i colori, mischiare gli strati ed ammorbidire le linee dure dei disegni eseguiti con le matite colorate. Usare questa matita per creare un e etto di strati leggermente sfumati e per armonizzare i colori.
