ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PHOTO SHOOT SY 2013-2014

September 16-20, 2013 ES Science Lab (Rm. 2126)

All students will be photographed regardless of purchase. Each class will have a scheduled time for photo shoot
during the week.

Students must wear their school uniform (any color ISM knit
shirt with collar, NO PE UNIFORM please) during the photo shoot.

Photo Order Envelopes will be distributed to students on

September 13. Payments should be placed inside the order envelope to be brought by the student on the day of their scheduled photo shoot which will then be given directly to the photographers staff. NO PAYMENT WILL BE RECEIVED BY THE TEACHER OR THE ES OFFICE. Late orders/payments can be done directly with the photographers staff during the photo shoot week, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, in Rm. 2126 (ES Science Lab) or get in touch directly with the photographer after September 20. RECESSSUCCESS! ThePEteamhasarecessboxintheESPlazawithsports equipment for children to use during their play me. Children simply need to hand in their school ID to a su pervisor located at the recess box. At the end of play children return the borrowed equipment and collect their Student ID card. This system helps students be re sponsible. If your child has misplaced their school ID, it may be in the ES PE oce. The recess box supervisor brings any unclaimed IDs at the end of each day to the ESPEoceonLevel1.

TheESPEblogshavethefacilityschedulesforyourchild fortheschoolyearsoyoucaneasilyndoutwhenyour child is indoors or outdoors or swimming in PE les sons.You can help make PE a posi ve experience for yourchildinthefollowingways:

Calling Young Writers Ages 5 to 14

A two-day writing weekend dedicated to young writers is scheduled onSeptember 28 & 29 at The Columns Tower 2 Function Room B, Ayala Avenue. There will be two simultaneous courses for these age groups: Aspiring Writers and Illustrators Scheme for 5 9 yrs old, 9 am - 4 pm and Young Authors Scheme for 10 14 yrs old, 9 am - 5:30 pm. The sessions will be facilitated by writer and former ISM faculty member Neni Sta. Romana Cruz and Catherine Khoo, a writer and author from Singapores Janus Education Institute. Every Friday is Pizza Day for Elementary School (grades 1-4). The pizzas are being supplied by Piadina.
