WIA Youth Employment Program - North County

September 5th, 9th, 19th & 25th : WIA Orientations (by invitation only) These orientations are an introduction to the WIA Youth Employment Program offered at our Paso Robles and Atascadero locations. The program provides one-on-one tutoring and job coaching to help you build your job skills. Paid work experiences are also offered through this program. September 12th: How do You Take Care of Yourself? Workshop So youve made progress: Maybe you are going to school, working, performing community service, and caring for little ones? Maybe you are doing all of these? Learn healthy ways to fill your tank so that you have the energy to keep going! Brainstorm and collaborate with other youth who are on the same road as you. DMV Test Prep Workshop @Estrella Career Center 1:30-3PM

September 23rd: DMV Test Prep Workshop This workshop will begin by providing you with instruction and review on the trickiest parts of the exam: Signs, speed limits, safe driving practices, lighting, distances, and more. You will take practice tests, leave with a DMV pamphlet to study, and make an appointment for 27 the exam. September 26th: Certificate Programs at Cuesta College Workshop Want more education but dont want to go to school for years and years? Come to this workshop and we will help you research short term certificate programs at Cuesta College: These will help you become more employable, earn a better income, and enjoy the work you do. *Please note the Estrella Career Center is closed on Fridays
