HELP: eBay Sell Your Item and Revise

Your Item Forms Don't Work with
Firefox
I'don't know what is going on but I've had my MAC computer for
years and used Firefox for years, and also been on eBay for years.
All of a sudden a week or two ago, I can't revise my existing items
and I can't get a new Sell Your Item for to go through. I continually
get an error message Description Too Long. I've taken out all the
words in the description box until I was down to just the title of the
item, 10 words or less, and I still got the Description Too Long error
message. I've very ill and I need to sell everything I own without
delay and this problem with eBay is very frustrating to say the least.
I've done all the "empty cache and cookies" thing and done a Safe
Reboot of the computer. It is still happening. eBay can't tell me
anything, I've had 9 Live Chats in the past three days and I got no
help at all. They did tell me to use Internet Explorer but as far as I
know IE is not available for MAC users. I've tried to use Safari but all
I get in the description box is jibberish. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE
HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. I tried what the other fellow did
on the other Firefox thread (go to View and choose Style and No
Style but it didn't solve the problem either. I've got many hundreds
more items to list for sale and I'm blocked. PLEASE HELP.
"Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network >
Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" "Remove the Cookies" from
sites that cause problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy >
Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file
cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
You can try to rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old)
and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in
the Profile Folder in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

- open with TextEdit (default) - this gives an empty box
- other - wouldn't know what else to choose
I have 43 items on sale & time is ticking but I can't get
in to upload my photos - so frustrated! Please help me!

Usually when you list an item for sale on eBay, there is a button just
above the description box where you can Add A Photo. If you click
on that, it should take you to Photo Manager and you can upload
your photo using Browse.
I just submitted my suggestion, from Kathy Williams (I didn't see that
the name Tamatha was in the box). Thanks for replying Kathy, but
the problem I'm having (& I think the original poster too) is that we've
already created the listing & now want to revise it by adding a photo,
that's where the problem lies. I have only started having problems
these past few days, before it seemed to work fine. No idea what's
going on but it's really annoying as the auctions will end at the
weekend & I can;t show potential buyers what they'd be bidding on
so they're unlikely to take the risk!

PayPal has a Virtual Mastercard where you can use your PayPal
funds to purchase temporary, disposable numbers. This feature is
enabled by downloading the PayPal Debit Bar, which is basically a
bar at the top of your screen where your numbers will generate.
You can use the Virtual Mastercard on any website that accepts
Mastercard. However, the downside is you can only spend $150
per day and only if the funds are available in your account. The
Virtual Mastercard is free to use with your PayPal account.

Paypal also has something similar. If you have a paypal account

you can use a "temporary" visa card to buy items online. You tell
Paypal you want to buy items online. They display a secure web
browser which has a small window that displays your "temporary"
visa card number and the total amount of money available in
your account. You then enter that card number into the web
based forms to purchase your items.
