13-09-03 Collapse of Civil Society in Israel one gang or two? Two critical events in Israel over the past two decades are inherently related the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin in 1995 and the death under suspicious circumstances of Supreme Court Chief Clerk Shmaryahu Cohen in 2002.

Judge (retired) Dan Arbel held key positions relative to both the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin (1995) and the suspicious death of Chief Clerk of the Israeli Supreme Court Shmaryahu Cohen.

Berlin-Alexanderplatz, September 3 while in Berlin, I decided to study the details of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin on November 4, 1995, a key event in Israeli history. The details are quite disturbing. The official, judicially sanctioned narrative is self-contradictory and inconsistent with the fundamental facts. However, on the positive side, notable Israeli scholars publicly stated their disbelief, as well as the Rabin family and the public at large, as seen in polls in following years. Judge (retired) Dan Arbel of the Tel Aviv District Court was the key figure in generating the official, false narrative of the assassination. He presided over the trial of Yigal Amir - purported assassin of Rabin. A notable event in the trial took place on December 5, 1995. The confessed assassin Yigal Amir was shaken by the mysterious death of one of Rabin's bodyguards a few days earlier. In open court and in comments to TV reporters, he tried to recant his confession, repeatedly saying They are killing people!. Judge Arbel denied Yigal Amir the right to speak up in open court, and remanded him to jail. 1/3

Review of the career of Dan Arbel shows that he served as a Magistrate Court Judge, then District Judge, and finally as Director of the Office of Administration of the Courts (1998-2004). The Human Rights Alert (NGO) reports show the central role of the offices of Administration of Courts in California, in the US, and in Israel, in corruption of the courts in recent decades, through the implementation of large-scale fraud in the electronic record systems of the courts and through undermining the authority and responsibilities of the clerks of the courts. The Human Rights Alert (NGO) report on Israel was incorporated into the UN Human Rights Council Periodic Review report on Human Rights in Israel (2013) with the note: "lack of integrity in the electronic records of the supreme court, the district courts and the detainees courts in Israel". The report, based on data-mining points out to March 7, 2002 as the critical date when the computers of the Israeli Supreme Court were subjected to inside job hacking. Further investigation revealed that on that day, Chief Clerk of the Israeli Supreme Court died in office of cardiac arrest. Two weeks later, a woman named Oholiva Peretz Izescu filed a complaint with the Tel Aviv Police, claiming murder. However, the complaint was closed, since she could not provide a reasonable motive for the murder. The Human Rights Alert report suggests that the motive was unlawful takeover of the servers of the Israeli Supreme Court, which had been under the custody of the Chief Clerk. Dan Arbel was Director of the office of Administration of the courts on that year! In short: Dan Arbel was a key figure in the group that compromised the executive in 1995 - through the assassination of Yitzhaq Rabin, and again a key figure in the group that compromised the court system in 2002. In short: Two critical events in collapse of Civil Society in Israel over the past two decades are: a. The assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhaq Rabin in 1995, and b. The death of Supreme Court Chief Clerk Shmaryahu Cohen in 2002. Judge Dan Arbel was in key positions relative to both events. Significance: It is widely believed that the assassination of Rabin was perpetrated by the Secret Service (Shabak) gang. However, it remained unclear, who were behind events in the Israeli Supreme Court in 2002. The suspects included then Chief Justice Aharon Barak, then Magistrate of the Supreme Court Boaz Okon, and some veterans of IDF Unit 8200. Therefore, it appeared that under conditions of general lawlessness, two separate groups perpetrated the two critical events. Now, the discovery of Dan Arbel in key positions, relative to both events, requires updating of the working hypothesis: The two gangs may in fact be one and the same! General perspective: 2/3

Common wisdom ties the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin to opposition to the Oslo Peace Accords and the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, which he led. From such perspective, the major outcome of the assassination was indefinite stalling of the peace process. However, probably the most pronounced change in Israel over the past two decades was in the socio-economic arena: While the economy was growing at a healthy pace by standard macro parameters, poverty and homelessness soared and housing became unaffordable for working people. The economy was brought under the control of a handful of tycoons with tight connections to major political figures, and visible corruption of government at all levels (including the courts) has reached unprecedented levels. According to a recent international report, income and asset distribution in Israel, a developed nation today, is inconsistent with a nation under democratic government. Such changes are particularly striking, since Israel was under control of socialist governments during the first 30 years of its independence (1947-1977), and during those years also absorbed masses of penniless refugees. The socio-economic changes in Israel over the past two decades of course mimic similar changes in the United States. In fact, during the past two decades, alignment of the State of Israel with the United States has reached an all time high, from the military, general government, and corporate/banking perspectives. In short: The State of Israel has been fully synchronized with the United States in ushering in the Robber Baron Revival Era! LINKS:
