The SAT Summer Boot Camp provides more in-class instruction than any other program we offer. It is designed for students who are willing to commit most of their summer to improving their SAT scores. Students attend 4.5 hours of class each day, Monday through Friday, during the eight week summer program at Elite. In the Critical Reading component of Boot Camp, students master the denitions of over 2000 SAT words and sharpen their critical reading skills by reading and analyzing challenging texts from a wide variety of academic disciplines. In the Math component, students are taught all the mathematical concepts tested on the SAT and given extensive problem sets to supplement their classroom lessons. Rounding out the program is the Writing component, in which students develop a strong foundation in English grammar and learn how to write strong essays.
The Programs
Students who need an intensive review for the January SAT Reasoning Test and students who would like to jumpstart their preparation for the March test will benet from taking our rigorous Winter Boot Camp. In this challenging eight-day course held during the winter break, students take a full-length SAT test in the morning, then attend 4.5 hours of test review and lecture in the afternoon. The course is comprehensive and covers all three sections of the SAT Reasoning Test: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing.
College Bound
The SAT Reasoning Test is the most widely used college admissions test in the United States. Admissions ofcers use the SAT to assess your skills in basic academic subjects that you will need to succeed in college: critical reading, mathematics, and writing. Because of the test's length, nearly four hours, and its importance in the admissions process, many students are intimidated by the SAT. Elite's curriculum is designed to give the skills -- and the condence -- to succeed on the SAT. Each week, students take a full-length practice test under realistic testing conditions, followed by three separate classes: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. In these classes, students don't just review test questions. They build their vocabulary and learn college-level skills in verbal and mathematical reasoning as well as writing, all the while learning how these essential academic tools apply to the SAT. All three classes have extensive homework that reinforces the classroom lessons. This interlocking system of classes has a proven record of producing outstanding SAT scores, including many perfect scores. But just as importantly, it produces students who are ready for the academic rigors of college. At Elite, we don't just prepare you for a test. We prepare you for your future. SAT Test Preparation includes: CRITICAL READING MATH WRITING PRACTICE TESTS
2100 Program
The Programs

PSAT Preparation
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a standardized test that provides rsthand practice for the SAT Reasoning Test. It also gives high school juniors a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs. Students will be tested on their critical reading, math, and writing skills. Elites PSAT preparation program combines customized practice tests administered on a regular basis with weekly lessons that not only cover all major topics tested, but also delve into subject areas in greater depth than programs at most test prep agencies.
Students applying to many four-year colleges must submit SAT Subject Test scores in addition to the SAT Reasoning Test score. SAT Subject Tests are offered in advanced level math, foreign language, history/social science, literature, and science. Students should consider taking SAT Subject Tests in the subjects that they are currently studying in high school, particularly if the school courses are advanced level and they have performed well in these courses. Elite provides comprehensive preparation for many of the SAT Subject Tests consisting of weekly practice test sessions and review classes with instructors who not only are knowledgeable about the subjects they teach but also understand how to help students prepare effectively for the SAT Subject Tests. Elite offers courses for the following SAT Subject Tests: BIOLOGY CHEMISTRY LITERATURE MATH LEVEL 2 PHYSICS U.S. HISTORY WORLD HISTORY

TOEFL Preparation
The TOEFL is the most recognized and widely accepted English-language test in the world. High TOEFL scores are indicators of readiness for understanding and using academic English at a college level. The TOEFL is a common requirement for non-native applicants applying to colleges and universities in the United States and sometimes even a requirement for government agencies, businesses, or scholarship programs. Occupying a unique position in the test preparation space due to its international reach, Elite is well-qualied to provide international applicants to colleges and universities in the U.S. with the support they need to tackle the TOEFL and improve both their written and spoken English.
Elite offers two workshops to help seniors navigate the college application process. In the College Application Workshop, students learn how to write unique, memorable, and powerful personal essays. Teachers meet with students individually to proofread, critique, and revise multiple drafts until students have polished and compelling personal statements. In addition, teachers provide step-by-step guidance in completing college application forms. The Interview Workshop focuses on the college interview, an experience most students nd daunting. In this workshop, students have the opportunity to experience several mock interviews and receive constructive feedback from our specially trained teachers. After the workshop, students will be able to walk into their college interviews with a good sense of what kinds of questions to expect, how to converse actively with interviewers, and how to make the best impression possible.

ReadiPrep Courses
High school students have the SAT to gauge their readiness for college, but there has been no test for junior high students to prepare for the rigor of high school and college prep courses until now. The College Board recently introduced a new test: ReadiStep. This two hour test will be used to identify students who have the potential to enroll in college prep classes even before they get to high school. As a leader in the eld of education, Elite and its ReadiPrep courses are designed to help students develop skills they will be tested on such as reading, writing, and mathematics. Students will master foundational concepts that will help them get ahead of their peers. ReadiPrep - English Elites ReadiPrep - English class is based on the strong correlation between extensive reading and competency in all the verbal skills critical reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. If students start honing these skills at the junior high level, they will be miles ahead of the competition. Utilizing popular and educational works of literature, the ReadiPrep - English program will also focus on cultivating critical thinking skills. The extensive curriculum was designed to have students practice deeper reading. ReadiPrep - English goes beyond the traditional book report and will get students engaged in reading through activities with purpose, projects with content, and writing with power. The ReadiPrep - English program creates a learning environment in which students will gain all the necessary skills to succeed on the new ReadiStep test. ReadiPrep - Math Elites ReadiPrep Advance - Math is designed to help students master the concepts and problem solving techniques in the Pre-Algebra to Algebra II sequence. Each class presents the principles appropriate to a specic math level in a clear, easy-to-understand format. The students then apply these math principles to carefully constructed word problems and exercises developed to sharpen problem-solving skills and reinforce conceptual understanding at the same time. Elite was great for preparing me for the SAT: The practice tests and the classes made the real test feel like just another standard test. I became more confident approaching the test and didnt need to worry very much. Jennifer Ding SAT 2400 / 2007 | Rancho Bernardo High, CA Elite not only gave me the necessary technical skills essential to acing the SAT, but they, most importantly, also taught me how to think critically and inventively when overcoming hard problems. Jennifer Sun SAT 2400 / 2007 | Polytechnic High, CA The incredible teachers, combined with small information- packed classes and weekly practice exams, gave me the resources and the discipline I otherwise would not have had.
Mostafa Al-Alusi SAT 2400 / 2007 | Torrey Pines High, CA I was originally against the idea of taking any SAT prep classes because I felt that my score was high enough and that I was only missing questions because I was unlucky. After attending Elite, not only did I start to get those questions right, but I also understood the reasoning behind them. Benjamin Dong SAT 2400 / 2006 | Irvine High, CA The weekly practice tests and lessons, along with the excellent teaching staff, helped me achieve my full potential. Christina Zhu SAT 2400 / 2005 | University High, CA The teachers and staff at Elite were all enthusiastic and incredibly supportive. Thank you for the rewarding experience!

Elite was absolutely instrumental to my success on the SAT standardized tests. The coursework was incredibly effective, the classes were enjoyable, and the educational staff was engaged and friendly. Elite taught me the testing strategies that allowed me to score well, earning the test scores that I knew I was capable of. In large part, it is thanks to Elite that I was accepted to both CalTech and MIT. I would recommend Elite to any student.

I've seen firsthand that Elite's staff truly cares deeply about its students and does everything it can to help them succeed. The quality of education and learning environment at Elite is definitely top notch and can't be matched by any other institution. Elite thoroughly prepares you for the SAT. Acceptance to Stanford
Elite's classes (and even more so, the consultations) were considerably the best help I have ever received out of the many tutoring services I have been through. Reflecting back, the classes provided the practice I needed for consistency and undoubtedly prepared me for the SAT's. The consultations with Randolf proved not only to be educational, but also extremely enjoyable (an experience that I feel is rather devoid at other tutoring places today). I definitely attribute my college acceptance to Elite.

Elite not only helped me improve my score on the SAT, but also helped to hone my English grammar and essay-writing skills -- a lot more so than many of my formal English classes. My teachers were all extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and engaging. I also loved how teachers weren't passive, but actually took an active role in helping me to improve my score. Even though a lot of the material tested on the SAT may not be directly applicable to real life, going through problems during SAT class pushed me to solve problems when I thought it couldn't be done, and see new, different perspectives of literature, which have definitely prepared me for college.

The Faculty

A lot has changed in the eld of education these past twenty-ve years. The SAT has gone through two major revisions. College admissions have grown increasingly competitive due to a dramatic increase in the number of school-age children. High school students can now take AP classes in new subjects such as Chinese Language and Culture, Economics, and Environmental Science. College coursework on a high school students transcript has now become standard fare on applications to the most competitive colleges. But one thing over the last twenty-ve years has
remained constant: Elite Educational Institutes commitment to helping our students maximize their academic potential and realize their educational dreams. From humble beginnings as one branch in Southern California in 1987 to more than thirty-ve branches worldwide two decades later, Elite has faculty and staff that have remained true to the principle that the success of our company relies on the success of our students. No other company can match the kind of individualized attention, personalized academic advising, and sophisticated curriculum that Elite provides.
