Great Barrier Island: Named by Captain Cook in 1769, lies about 90 kilometres north-east of Auckland and is accessible by both ferry, car ferry and air. On a day trip, you can ride the ferry from downtown Auckland cruising to the three main harbours. You get to view the beautiful white sand beaches of the eastern coast. Great tramping tracks criss-cross the island--rental cars and bikes are available. Waiheki Island: Waiheke Island the gem of the Hauraki Gulf is only 35 minutes by ferry from Auckland New Zealand but a million miles away in pace and beauty. The Island has award winning vineyards, olive groves and pastureland. The residential areas are in small village settings each with it's own character. There is a slower pace of life than the city across the water and is a great place for a holiday or vacation and to relax and unwind.

Sky Jump: Step onto the Auckland Sky Tower outdoor observation deck, and look down at the miniature red bulls eye painted on a raised platform 192 metres below. Sky Jump is a whole new way of falling off things. Jumpers wear a flying suit and a full body harness. They are then clipped to the jump cable and simply step off! Unlike Bungy, there's no hanging upside down or bouncing around - you simply fall fast and smooth then slow in the last few metres. Fall at approx 85kph for around 11 seconds.
