Join The Netherlands!: Unique Opportunity Dutch Visitors Programme
Unique opportunity
We expect that you will prepare yourself thoroughly for the programme and that you will actively participate in all the programme activities. As part of the preparations, you will be asked to fill in a form detailing your specific interests and goals, i.e.who would you like to meet in the Netherlands; which institutions would you like to visit and towards what ends, reasons or goals? This will require an investment of time and energy, but obviously the more thoroughly you prepare for your own individual programme the more useful and beneficial it will be for you personally. The programme represents a unique and stimulating opportunity to build a worthwhile network and to exchange expertise with highly interesting counterparts in the Netherlands.
Come
and
The Netherlands in ten days
The objective of the programme is for you to get to know the Netherlands so that you can gain an understanding of Dutch culture, politics, and our economy. We very much hope that this will help foster a warm and productive relationship between you and our country. The ten-day programme consists of a general component with you and seven other international participants, and an individual component tailored for each person. During the individual part of the programme, you will be able to meet and get to know Dutch counterparts from your own field, which provides an excellent opportunity for networking, ideas and information exchange and the chance to learn from each other. Beyond work and professional meetings and sessions, you will also be able to learn something about Dutch family life via a home hospitality visit plus an exciting cultural activities programme planned for the weekend.
Programme Costs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will pay for air transportation to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, visa fees, personal insurance, hotel accommodation and meals. We will also cover expenses for airport transfers, transportation within the Netherlands and any direct programme-related expenses.
