I am writing this from the Ronald McDonald house in Orlando, Fl.

As many of you know our grandson is in Arnold Palmer Pediatric Hospital. We dont have a definite diagnosis as of right now but trust God and his use of the Doctors. I must admit things look different from this side of the room. I want to thank all of you who have prayed and are praying for Liam and our family. I am so blessed to be part of a caring and loving congregation. This Sunday is HIGH ATTENDANCE AND TAILGATE PARTY. Just to refresh you, everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite team colors, jerseys, and attend Sunday School, worship and the tailgate meal. Each class was asked to set a goal and I have dreamed of a 600 attendance day in Sunday School. I cant wait to see how many folks, new and old, we will have in Bible Study and Worship this week. I plan to see you this Sunday.

SAINTS ALIVE AT METHODIST CHURCH

The Saints Alive Choir shared four great selections of Gaither favorites with the Keenagers at Bainbridge United Methodist Church last Wednesday. We looked great and sounded even better. I heard lots of kind words and complements from our hosts and they even plan to invite us back. We may even have found some prospects for our group from those who attended. Thanks for your ministry through music.

Only 8 spots left! I am searching for the last 8 people to help out in Extended Session. You will only be called on to serve 7 or 8 times the entire year during the 11 am worship service on Sundays. Please consider being a part of this wonderful ministry! Contact me using the phone number or email address below. September Sundays for a Sundae! If you are a part of our Children's and Preschool Ministry ages 1 through Grade 5 and you have perfect attendance for the month of September, you will receive a coupon for an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen! Van Driver, Ride-alongs and "Adoptive" Families I am searching for individuals to drive a van and ride along to pick up or drop off individuals we bring to church each service. You can now sign up conveniently on the bulletin board just outside the church office in the Educational Building. The children that come also need some extra adult supervision and love. If you are willing to pick up a child from Sunday School and ensure they have a place to sit in our worship service or are willing to have a child sit with your family during Wednesday night dinner, please contact me using the email address or phone number below. "He told them, 'Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me. And whoever welcomes Me welcomes Him who sent Me. For whoever is least among youthis one is great.'" Our first Monday meeting of Senior Adults was postponed last week because of the conflict with the Labor Day Holiday. We will meet this next Monday, September 9. Prepare and bring your favorite covered dish meal and meet in the Fellowship Hall at Noon to get in on the great fun and fellowship as we share together. Brother Lynn Ray will play guitar and share special Gospel music that all of us will surely enjoy. Bring a friend and have some fun!
