5. Operating Condition
FOR ALL MODELS: AppleTalk cannot be connected with Mac OS X version 10.8 "Mountain Lion". PS printer can be connected by using LPD protocol (TCP/IP). Note A: The image capture after Mac OS X 10.6 cannot be used with the TWAIN driver. Please use the Image Capture driver instead. Note B: Scanner driver can be used with USB connection only. Note C: When printing from a certain application on Mac OS X Version 10.8 "Mountain Lion", the information of the colour profile registered on the printer main unit cannot be shown on the Colour Profile Management screen of the print dialogue. Note D: C9800series is not supported Note E: This model has never had an OS X driver. Please use OP14ex driver manually. Note F: There is no scanner (twain) driver for ES4160/ES4180 however the scanner (twain) driver for MB460/MB480 can be used instead.
