PLEASE HELP CLARIFY!

To all Davidia, Whoever teached that V.T. Houteff, is the last prophet and that there is no more to follow after him, please help us honestly resolved all these questions! First let us quote: 2 TG 24:23, 24 Here is the Bibles own answer, which says that there is to be a people who will have the Testimony of Jesus Christ at the time the earth swallows up the flood, the hypocrites. And since this incident is yet future, it shows that there is to be a prophet in the Church, for the Bibles own interpretation of the Testimony of Jesus Christ, is the Spirit of Prophecy (Rev. 19:10). The first part of chapter 19 you will note explains that the Spirit of Prophecy is brought to them by a man, a fellow servant, and that those who receive him feel like worshiping him, but he directs them to worship God, not a man. The remnant that are left, the saints who were not swallowed by the Dragon s flood as the earth opened her mouth, you note have the testimony of Jesus Christ, the living Spirit of Prophecy active in their midst. The Church therefore will not sleep forever, the true people of God will awake to their poverty, they will profit at this rousing call, but the Dragons flood will fill the bowels of the earth. Let now no one deceive himself by thinking that the Bible Itself is the active Spirit of Prophecy. Let us be Gods real people, logical thinkers, not bait hunters. The Bible, you know, without the human channel, is as inactive as though It were but ink and paper. Moreover, the Spirit, too, apart from man, is also inactive: He, too, works through the human agent. Hence, without an inspired interpreter the concealed prophecies and the Spirit that unfolds them are inactive. Moreover, how could it be said of one particular group having the Spirit of Prophecy, when all the sects in Christendom have the Bible? (2 TG 24:23, 24) 1.) All of us might agreed that the swallowing up of the flood at the time the earth opened her mouth definitely points out to the day of slaughter. And during this time V.T. Houteff had not been as yet resurrected. Now the question is, who is he the prophet mentioned in this reading? To those who will declare that it is V.T. Houteff, then tell us, in what resurrection recorded in the Bible V.T. Houteff will be resurrected. Is it in Daniel 12:2, Eze. 37, Rev. 20:5, 6 and 1 Thes. 4:16, 17? Then provide the proof in the SROD, that one of these resurrections will occur prior to the day of slaughter, or even during the day of slaughter. But please consider this reading... 2 TG 10:29, 30 4.) That the destruction of the tares from among the first fruits of the living (Matt. 13:30, 48, 49; Ezek. 9:6, 7) results in the purification of the church. 5.) That immediately thereafter, the angels let loose the four winds (Rev. 7:1-3), whereupon ensues the time of trouble and Michaels standing up to deliver from it, all whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life (Dan. 12:1). 6.) That the angels letting loose the four winds to blow over the four corners of the earth (Rev. 7:1), does not anticipate a world war but rather a world-wide decree enforced throughout Babylon by the image-beast, and that then no one may buy or sell save he who worships the image. Rev. 13:15-17. 7.) That subsequently, the time of Jacobs trouble (Jer. 30:7) for the 144,000, the sons of Jacob, logically develops on their way home (Gen. 32:1, 24) to the land of their fathers (Ezek. 36:28; 37:21, 25).

8.) That the foregoing epochal event shall cause the 144,000 to have their names changed as did their father, Jacob (Gen. 32:28), and as a body receive a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name (Isa. 62:2). (2 TG 10:29, 30) The word subsequently is an adverb. Adverb is used to modify the meaning of the verb, adjective or another adverb in regard to time, place, manner, cause, or degree. And the word subsequent meaning following in time, place or order as in succeeding events. Then obvious it is, such reading definitely indicates that the destruction of the tares which is event number 4 precedes the Jacobs Trouble. Now let us read 2 SR 163 We quote from the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy: This was the time of Jacobs trouble. Then all the saints cried out with anguish of spirit, and were delivered by the voice of God. The one hundred and forty-four thousand triumphed. Their faces were lighted up with the glory of God. -- Life Sketches, page 117. Note that the 144,000 in number, were present in the time of Jacobs trouble. According to the following quotation, that time of trouble commences immediately after the close of probation: When Christ shall cease His work as mediator in mans behalf, then this time of trouble will begin. -- Patriarchs and Prophets, page 201. That time of trouble is before any of the sleeping saints are resurrected, therefore the 144,000 are not resurrected, but are living saints who have never tasted death and are to be translated at the second coming of Christ. (2 SR 163) The voice of Inspiration made it so plain that during the Jacob s Trouble there was not as yet even one saint been resurrected. And since the swallowing up of the flood which is the destruction of the tares is event number 4 which precedes the Jacobs Trouble, definitely shows that V.T. Houteff was not as yet resurrected during the time the earth opened her mouth and swallow up the flood. Plainly therefore, with such weighty evidences here amassed there is manifestly one conclusion possible, the prophet mentioned in 2 TG 24:23 could not be V.T. Houteff. Heres another passage 2 TG 41:7, 8 Amos 1:2 -- The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. This scripture, you see, reflects the tragedy which took place on the top of Carmel in the days of Elijah. Here we are given the hint that there is to be another show-down between the prophet of God and the prophets of Baal. The prophets of Baal in our day even boast that they are not inspired, that what they teach and preach is what they themselves discovered by deep study and research! They even sneer at those who claim to be inspired of the Lord! They seem to think that God has forsaken the earth; that He cares not to send His Spirit as in former time; that men are now so wise that what the Spirit can do for them, they themselves can do even better! The truth is, though, that if there ever was a need for inspired interpreters of the Scriptures, it is today while many winds of doctrines are blowing from all directions, bringing in confusion, dissension, and disaster everywhere. No one sees eye to eye! (2 TG 41:7, 8) And let us connect 1 SC 14:6 As Amos says, The habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, it is obvious that Amos prophecy is yet future, for the word habitations (places) is in the plural form which cannot be applied to one shepherds habitation (denomination) but to all that be in existence at that time. The term shepherds means, as understood, the same as the ancient men which were before the house -- the ministers. -- Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 211. Note that the shepherds are not themselves to mourn but their habitations (their houses); that is, the membership of their churches, which fact reveals that it will be thus at the time when the

sleeping multitudes in the churches awake from their spiritual insensibility and find that the shepherds whom they have implicitly trusted for their salvation had deceived all those who followed them. The prophet Jeremiah in the following words explains that this wailing by those who are thus deceived will be at the close of probation. For they shall say the harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. (Jer. 8:20). That is, after the harvest, the time in which they could have been saved, they will realize that probationary time has closed. Then the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither. Hence, before that time the top of Carmel must have been green with much pasture, otherwise there would be nothing to wither; that is, though Carmel has now plenty of pasture (present truth), when probation closes it shall be deserted (wither), for says the Spirit of Prophecy: In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages. -- Early Writings, p. 34. (1 SC 14:6) Since V.T. Houteff quoted Early Writings page 34, let us read the absolute declaration of E.G. White. EW 34 In the time of trouble we all fled from the cities and villages, but were pursued by the wicked, who entered the houses of the saints with a sword. They raised the sword to kill us, but it broke, and fell as powerless as a straw. Then we all cried day and night for deliverance, and the cry came up before God. The sun came up, and the moon stood still. The streams ceased to flow. Dark, heavy clouds came up and clashed against each other. But there was one clear place of settled glory, whence came the voice of God like many waters, which shook the heavens and the earth. The sky opened and shut and was in commotion. The mountains shook like a reed in the wind, and cast out ragged rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot and cast out stones upon the land. And as God spoke the day and the hour of Jesus coming and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth. The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upward, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder. It was awfully solemn. And at the end of every sentence the saints shouted, Glory! Alleluia! Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory, as did the face of Moses when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them for the glory. And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the beast and over his image. (EW 34) EW 85, 86 This view was given in 1847 when there were but very few of the Advent brethren observing the Sabbath, and of these but few supposed that its observance was of sufficient importance to draw a line between the people of God and unbelievers. Now the fulfillment of that view is beginning to be seen. The commencement of that time of trouble, here mentioned, does not refer to the time when the plagues shall begin to be poured out, but to a short period just before they are poured out, while Christ is in the sanctuary. At that time, while the work of salvation is closing, trouble will be coming on the earth, and the nations will be angry, yet held in check so as not to prevent the work of the third angel. (EW 85, 86) It is clear as sunlight, that the time of trouble mentioned in EW page 34 will occur at the time while Christ is in the Sanctuary in the Most Holy Place. And such event occurred prior to the deliverance of God s people, as definitely indicated in the reading by saying Then we all cried day and night for deliverance, and the cry came up before God. (EW 34) And this event occurred after the second showdown according to 1 SC 14:6. And since in Early Writings page 285, all who had been died under the third angels message since 1844 will be resurrected after the deliverance of Gods people then obvious it is during the second showdown V.T. Houteff had not been as yet resurrected. Then the question is 2.) Who is he the prophet of God mentioned in 2 TG 41:7 who meet the prophets of Baal in the second showdown? Heres another passage

2 TG 2:17, 18 In the days of this antitypical David God gathers His flock from all the countries where they have been scattered, and brings them into their own land. God will no longer leave them in the mountains and the hills of the Gentiles. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel. Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and His goodness in the latter days. Hos. 1:11; 3:5. (2 TG 2:17, 18) The voice of Inspiration never applies the phrase in the days of this antitypical David, after such person died. The Bible called David of old as a prophet of God. (Acts 2:29, 30) Now the question is 3.) Who is he this antitypical David mentioned here, that during his days (lifetime) God will gather His people? Now let us quote, the most favorite passage that Davidia ever used at the present time GCS 7, 8 Thus will be the Devils deal while the day of God is approaching, and while Elijah is making the announcement of it as the scroll unrolls and while the prophecies concerning the day of God are being unsealed. His work and his interpretation of the prophecies for the great day will identify him as the promised Elijah the prophet (Testimonies to Ministers, p. 475), and this will enrage the Devil as never before. Nevertheless, ones only safety will be in the teaching of Elijah, for there will be no other voice of timely Truth and authority to whom one may turn. Any others will lead their victims blind-folded into perdition. (GCS 7, 8) What is Timely Truth? Now, let us read 1 ANS. 93, 94 FORTY YEARS WITHOUT REFILLING? Question No. 13: How can it be true that no progressive truth was given to the church during the forty-year period from 1890 to 1930, when so many of Sister Whites writings were published from 1890 to 1915? Answer: Though many of Sister Whites manuscripts were published during the period of time stated above, yet a careful check will reveal that if any new revelation of timely Bible truth, meat in due season, was published therein, it was revealed to her before 1890. In fact, as early as 1871, she herself announced this cessation of light through the Testimonies: I am authorized from God to tell you that not another ray of light through the Testimonies will shine upon your pathway, until you make a practical use of the light already given.-Testimonies, Vol. 2, p. 606. So whatever Testimonies she wrote between the dates in question (1890 and 1915) were not expressly to reveal timely Bible truth, but primarily to furnish counsel, admonition, reproof, and instruction in righteousness in an endeavor to save the Laodiceans from being spued out. Any other of her writings remained, in their prophetic aspects, a mystery until the forty years expired with the arrival of The Shepherds Rod. So long without spiritual oil, the churchs Truth-containing vessel needed to be refilled with fresh oil, that her lamp might lighten her path all the way to the Kingdom, lest she fall from the strait and narrow road at the very end of her long pilgrimage. So in His great love and mercy, the Lord has sent The Shepherds Rod to gather

up and make a practical use of the light already given. Therefore, now, commands the Lord, Hear ye the Rod, and Who hath appointed it. Mic. 6:9. (1 Ans. 93, 94) Here the reading implicitly shows, that although E.G. White continually published many manuscripts from 1890 up to 1915, since such publications were only a repetition of the message which already revealed unto her prior to 1890 the SROD plainly declared that it could no longer be called as Timely Truth. Now the question is 4.) In Feb. 5, 1955 after V.T. Houteff died we will only published those messages which were already revealed unto V.T. Houteff from 1929 up to 1955 can it be still called as Timely Truth? Think it thoroughly brethren. Let us be Gods real people, logical thinkers and not bait hunters. (2 TG 24:23) The SROD declared: 2 TG 45:6 Thus it is clear that the Testimony of Jesus and the Spirit of Prophecy are synonymous terms for a timely message sent from God -- meat in due season. The Spirit of prophecy, therefore, is Gods means of communicating from Heaven directly to His church on earth, as well as of unfolding the sealed prophecies to her. (2 TG 45:6) Inspiration declared: the testimony of Jesus Christ is the ever-active Spirit of Prophecy. (6 TR 45) When the prophet died, the Active Spirit of Prophecy, became quiescent, no longer manifesting itself for a time ( 3 Ans. 60). And that is why inspiration declared clearly it bears evidence that the Spirit of Prophecy is no longer active in the midst of her (among SDA church) (4 SC 10-12:3). And the absolute fact that this remnant had not been swallowed by the Dragons flood when the Earth opened her mouth for the reason that the Living Spirit of Prophecy is Active in their midst, implicitly shows that there is a prophet among them ( 2 TG 24:23). They are the remnant by which the Gift of the Spirit of Prophecy is bestowed by God Himself. (2 TG 34:23) Gods law of type that where there is type, there must also be antitype. (9 TR 72) Inspiration declared clearly that John was a type of the Elijah that is to come before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord (Mal. 4:5), at which time the prophecy will be fulfilled in its fullness. (1 SC 4:5) Therefore the truth stands out boldly that the direct fulfillment of this chapter is found in our time, thus making John s work an ensample of our work -- Johns work the type, ours the antitype. (1 TG 36:4) Thus by Scriptures and by logic of facts, we are carried to the peak of evidence and of the conviction that V.T. Houteff was antitypical Elijah John the Baptist, and not antitypical Elijah the Tishbite. There is no reason to persistently insist that V.T. Houteff is antitypical Elijah the Tishbite, while he of himself categorically declared that he was antitypical Elijah John the Baptist. Therefore, those who presumably declared that V.T. Houteff is antitypical Elijah the Tishbite although the prophet himself has not said so, then not to know for a certainty that such are not working for the God of Elijah, but for the devil, is Laodiceanism of the worst kind. (GCS 23) Such statement cannot be applied to E.G. White, for the gender used is in masculine, otherwise it would be grammatically incorrect. For it did not say although the prophetess herself has not said so but rather, although the prophet himself has not said so. Therefore, GCS pages 7, 8 points out directly in the days we are living in, that our only safety will be in the teaching of Elijah for there will be no other voice of Timely Truth and authority to whom one may turn. Any others will lead their victims blind-folded into perdition. And Timely Truth can never be applied to the message which was already revealed. Heres another quotation 2 TG 6:18 Now, what is it all about? -- It is not too difficult to see. The one to whom God speaks, Jezreel, represents a prophet. His brother and sister, Ammi and Ruhamah, can only represent the church membership, both male and female. In actuality Jezreel must deliver God's message to them. (2 TG 6:18)

Is there any statement whether in the Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy that our God did communicate to Ammi and Ruhamah directly? Can a dead prophet (Jezreel) deliver God s message to Ammi and Ruhamah in actuality? Can a dead prophet in actuality be able to speak? The statement this great world-wide work of ingathering cannot begin till Jezreel appears on the scene (WHR 65) simply indicates that such last Jezreel during his appearance the gathering of the people will be accomplished. V.T. Houteff was disappeared since Feb. 5, 1955, but the saints were not as yet gathered, impregnably builds the incontestable fact that he could not be the last Jezreel. Heres another quotation 1 SR p.e. 77 As a general of armies sets his face against an enemy nation with intent to conquer it, so is antitypical Ezekiel commanded to undertake this urgent revival and reformation among Gods people. (1 SR p.e 77) The command to take this urgent Revival and Reformation among God s people was given by God to Ezekiel. Inspiration declared: Furthermore, Ezekiel is commanded to lay siege against it, to take it! ( 2 TG 39:10) Can we give any citation whether in the Bible or in the Spirit of Prophecy predicting a Revival and Reformation without an Ezekiel among them? (meaning without a prophet among them)? As a necessary and natural sequent, God will have but one mouthpiece to teach His people in the establishing of His kingdom. (3 Ans. 32) Aside from Ezekiel (Gods mouth piece) God delegates no other to be a watchman of the people. (1 TG 22:30) Finally, for what other purpose could any right thinking minds suppose the Lord would send His prophet if not for them to give ear to him, that they might thereby survive the great and dreadful day of the Lord? For what else, indeed, could the Lord have made a record of prophecy and promise of His last-day prophet? Ponder this, Brethren; think it through. (GCS 9)

Yours in Christ Jesus,

A.D. JEZREEL
