First in your family to attend post-secondary?

on the celebrating. However, pat yourself on the back because you are sticking in there and as always the First Generation Team is here whenever you are in need. I know you have been waiting patiently to hear if you received the First Generation bursary, well you will not have to wait too much longer. No later than March 4th we will only notify the students who have been awarded the bursary. We received close to 300 applications, although we would like to grant everyone unfortunately there is not enough to go around. The selection was based on the following: * Priority for students who started in January (but not excluding other students) * Students with financial needs who completed the budget form correctly and wrote a letter following the instructions. (What it means to you to be a First Generation Student) After reading through all your heartfelt letters we realized that some of you could do with some assistance with composing strong bursary letters. So we invite anyone who would like to learn some tips on strengthening your bursary letters on March 17th from 12pm 1pm, in the Community Partnerships Office at 264B Adelaide St. E., (entrance is from the side of the building, facing the Hospitality bldg). We will have treats just for showing up. SCORE YOUR NEXT BURSARY!!
