Abstract

This report presents a documentation for A GSM based instantaneous track final vehicle registration details extraction system using RFID,which is useful for traffic police to the lost vehicles , to be developed as part of the year project. This is an important area for

development because vehicles in present context are frequently lost and they are very hard to track so such a system can instantaneously detect the lost vehicles and inform to control room so that vehicles can be easily taken under control. The aim of this project is to develop a system with which traffic system can automatically extract vehicle registration details that assists for lost vehicle tracking. The project will involve three phases: Development of system to scan RFID from vehicle using the RFID receiver that should be placed at the entry/exit point or possible places in cities lost vehicles may pass through, Development of system that processes the input data from the ID and collects additional information about vehicle ,Development of system that sends collected information to control system of the traffic. The results from the proposed project will be an integrated system capable of receiving information from vehicle, manipulating the received data and outputting it to control room or vehicle owner via GSM system. This system is automatic applicable to traffic system so using this system reduces the number of manpower used to search ii

lost vehicles .This system assists to find the vehicles used by criminals if possible vehicle details are known in advanced. Thus this project can possibly be a milestone security system of the country. to the enhancement of the
