A brief look at the course: This short course will give a basic electrical energy management guide and practical application. It will cover the fundamental principle, practical energy audit checklist guidelines and energy equipment utilisation assessment scheme. The trainer will share some of his customers experience in the electrical energy management work engagement and also show how this beneficial activity of energy management is contributing to the business expenditure operation.

OUR CONSULTANT Ir. Lam Sing Yew is a technical specialist cum trainer on his own niche consultancy practice to the
areas of electrical reliability engineering application, guru of electrical maintenance strategies, technical performance asset & benchmarking audit, asset change management practitioner, power quality assessor and electrical energy management & optimisation.
He has attained vast experience in project construction management in building the aviation support facilities, managing mechanical and electrical (M&E) turn-key services, oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing and pulp & paper industries. In addition, he has carried out many electrical safety incident investigation due to maintenance and/or equipment faults by facilitating the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) application.
He has contributed his expertise to Energy Centre Malaysia (GreenTech) for Malaysia Industries: Part 1- Electrical Energy Efficiency Guideline handbook. As a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with Energy Commission (EC) Malaysia since 2009, he has accomplished as energy management practitioner to facilitate the industrial process by deriving the electrical energy management roadmap strategies for multinational company (MNC) top management.
He is specialised in electrical energy management and power quality field from his postgraduate study from University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) by graduating with M.Sc (Electrical Power Engineering) in 2003. He also graduated with his first bachelors degree qualification from University of Leicester, United Kingdom in B.Eng (Hons) Electrical and Electronics in year 1995. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Board of Engineers Malaysia and also attained his Charted Engineer (CEng) with Engineering Council (UK).
