THE WLBC BULLETIN

West Lynchburg Baptist Church

September 15, 2013 Volume 3, Issue 37

The church with heart in the heart of the city.

Just Around The Corner...

Packed With Purpose In Cure for the Common Life (W Publishing Group), Max Lucado recounts grabbing the wrong suitcase at an airport, not realizing the mistake until hed reached his hotel room. No one wants to live out of someone elses bag, he writes, yet thats what many people do with their career choices. An estimated 70 percent of people go to work without enthusiasm or passion because theyve been urged to force themselves into roles that arent the right fit. You cannot be anything you want to be, Lucado writes, but you can be everything God wants you to be. By living out of the bag that God packed specially for you, youll experience fulfillment and joy in your work and in your life. The Newsletter

WLBC Praying for...EUROPEAN PEOPLES. A missionary writes, Much of our IMB work in the Western Med Cluster is seeing small amounts of growth. However, it is not enough. Pray that in 2013, there will be an amazing work of the Holy Spirit and that the tiny groups meeting in these countries will explode with growth so that more Spaniards, Portuguese, French, Belgian, Dutch, Italian, Maltese and British people will be rejoicing around the throne one day in heaven!
