Directing this company of characters is veteran Katrina Ploof with Gary May serving as Set designer, Phil King as Music Director, Gene Bastarache as Choreographer, while David Castaneda puts them all in light. Stage manager Charlene Getz gets to make sense of this all.

From the pogroms of Russia to the halls of the Knesset, Meir's life -and the play-encapsulates the dramatic story of the birth of Israel in the wake of the Holocaust and its subsequent, seemingly endless struggle for peace for much of the 20th Century. The show's message is of humanity's yearning for peace and continues to strike a resonant chord with respect to today's conflicts in the Middle East. The play features Florida Theatre Conference Best Actress award-winner, Katrina Ploof.
