Essential Duties and Responsibilities v Assist the Director team in day to day tasks Communication with camper parents Staff hiring administration Program planning and administration Staff database management Staff event planning and coordination Organization and coordination of staff files Assist with planning staff trainings and logistics Assist with general preparation for summer camp Assist with marketing and agency communication v Administrative Assistant Assist with answering phones Assist with mailings Assist with filing Assist with general office clean up and organization Assist with general office tasks as needed Additional Information v Qualifications and Requirements Demonstrate professionalism and accountability Flexible, able to meet changing work needs and demands Able to work collaboratively Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations as well as customer requests and complaints v Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of PC computers Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately Detail oriented and well organized Must be able to communicate clearly with colleagues and constituents Maintain confidentiality

Excellent writing and proofreading skills Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions in routine situations Supervision Received General supervision provided by Assistant Camp Director Physical Demands: The physical demands listed below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential functions Typing, writing, reading, hearing and speaking Use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment Frequent sitting Standing, walking, kneeling Some lifting and carrying up to 20lbs Noise level Moderately quiet Special requirements Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required Normal working hours 9:00AM 5:00PM with 30 minutes for lunch and 2 15-minute breaks This position will be 20-24 hours a week. Start date late November. End date late March. Salary This is a temporary hourly position at $14+/hr DOE.
