Launch the Designer from the start menu

Select New Universe and New Connection

Select Secured connection and SAP system

Enter the BW system credential; this will establish the system connections. For the Authentication Mode: Use single sign on when refreshing report at view time. This setting will enable the inheritance of you BW report analysis authorization security across to BBOJ (For e.g.: User restriction on Company Code, Plant etc)

Once you select that option: the User name and Password fields are grayed. The end-user will be authenticated when they go to run the query on Info view.

Select the query on which you want to build the Universe

You can test your connection here, and click OK.

In the below screen you can view that all your BW Chars/Key figs are mapped in the BOBJ universe

Export the Universe to the CMC repository. It will enable to create Webi reports after from info view.

Save

Select the destination where the Universe needs to be exported in the repository, and which user groups have the authorization

Click OK.

The OLAP Universe is created and you can build the Webi report on top of it.
