around 500,000 employees. Cash Services is one of the core businesses of the group, providing tailor made
logistic solutions for transporting cash & valuables between businesses & banks, ATMs & Bullion between Intra
& Inter Continents/Countries/Cities

Business
 Developed the Top line business by 74.3% in three years from (-) 8% PBITA to (+) 7% PBITA for Mumbai
alone, apart from other branches in Maharashtra.

 Become the linchpin for all business activities that are driven from Mumbai and working in close
coordination with the HO team was able to make a substantial contribution of Rs.98mn to the All India
business.

Finance
 The average OS over business generated was reduced to 132% from 214% with DSO down to 42 from 62

 The cash flow was increased from 67% to 88% and thereby improved the bargaining & efficiency levels.

Operations
 Improved the infrastructure and efficiency levels of the All India ATM call centre for its functioning to
achieve the desired TAT of 94% from 83%

 Improved the vehicle utilization from 247 days to 286 days a year, devised other methods there by
reducing the direct cost by almost 8.2%

 Significantly improved the coordination at all levels and brought down the bullion import clearance lead
time of various foreign & domestic banks to 36 hours from 3 days and thus enhanced the productivity.
Human Resources
 Persuaded the top management in converting staffs at pivotal positions from direct to managerial cadres
and lead to perform beyond expectations, this initiative was later exercised across the country.

 Versatile in handling union issues and was instrumental in convincing & signing a pact between the
company and a major trade union for the first time among the group companies.

 Sustained in providing quality services, by convincing the management & clients and implemented the
downsizing process of certain major operations & business for better progress & improved relations.

TCI XPS, Branch Manager – Mumbai Jan’97 – July’04


The Express division of TCI - the front line transport organization in India. TCI XPS is a leading multi-modal
express distribution company and continues to develop the frontiers of logistics and supply chain management.
 Headed the Mumbai profit centre; administered and coordinated the daily activities with a special emphasis
on Air Cargo. Successful in persuading; bifurcated the air cargo inbound and out bound operations and
attained 95.16% and 96.37% service level for Inbound & Outbound operations respectively.

 Exclusive contracts were signed with a good number of major clients encompassing: L & T (CMD), IOCL
(Refineries), BHEL, Tata Telecom, to cater to their complete requirements. Pumped business worth
approximately Rs.17.4mn into other branches, while accomplishing this task in 2003-04.

 Played a pivotal role in designing and finalization of first ever International alliance with the Emirates Post
of UAE and coordinating the operational and service aspects with personal visits and meeting their stringent
dead lines.

 Initiated a trend setting feature in Chandigarh wherein 8 out of 11 employees after completing a specified
period of service were awarded a promotion to head higher responsibilities; the highest in the region.
