Fall is just around the corner, and that means SFA, as well as Nacogdoches, will be invaded by 
more than 3000 new college freshmen.  If you want to be among the first to greet them, then you 
need to sign up to participate in:

SFA Freshman Convocation Photo from Back Lot Bash

5 PM. Sept. 3 SFA freshmen starting their new life adventures
William R. Johnson Coliseum  at SFA and hungry for information. 

The Back Lot Bash is held in the back parking lot of the William R. Johnson Coliseum following the SFA Freshman Convocation.  Each organization 

and business will be given one six­foot table.   Electricity is limited and available on a first come­first served basis. Sign up soon to ensure that there is 
a spot for you. 

This event is designed to get freshmen excited about all the possibilities awaiting them on the SFA campus and in Nacogdoches.  Here are a few of the 
groups and topics new students are interested in: 
· A Nacogdoches preview of local employers, 
· Local restaurants with free samples, 
· Local businesses showing what’s available in our city, 
· Student volunteer programs information, 
· University Police information, 
· Student organizations information, 
· Greek life information, and 
· Disability Support Services and other student services. 
· Each freshmen will receive a class of 2013 T­shirt. 

Don’t miss the first major opportunity in fall 2009 to meet the new freshmen as well as to see what’s hot at SFA.
