An economic and more eff altn could be dev a Helium filled or Hot Air Balloon having high quality day/ni camera assys with zoom and single axis mov cap. This sys may be able to provide 360 degree vis. MLRS A100 has been recently inducted in Pak Army. The sys is primarily designed to del a large vol of fire in a short span of time against critical and time sensitive tgts. In order to streamline drills and procedures, the process of trg on the sys is in progress. Eco of effort alongwith safety of the sys, demands dev of sml / other allied facilities for the trg /ops purpose. Consequently, fol is suggested to be dev for:a. Mob Loading Facility for MLRS Rkts.

b. LASER Based Alignment Sys for Loading of Rkts in Launch Tube Packs (LTPs) c. Trg Sml of MLRS Eqpt 3 IGT&E Br Pakistan army has suffered from no of cas D&E Dte due to IEDs in FATA and Swat. Most of the cas are attributed to lack of capacity to detect and neut IEDs. There is a need to dev unmanned robotic gr vehs for IED detection and neut. The US dev unmanned gr veh (UGVs) have conducted over 30, 000 msns detecting and neutralizing over 15,000 IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan. IGT&E Br Since our sldrs are often exposed to IED D&E Dte threat which remains unavoidable in the prevailing envmt, and incur huge life losses without even nctr. There is also need to dev special suit to protect the indls who are emp as scouts to search IEDs. The suit provides full body protection against fragments and explosions. EO guided smart munitions (Laser guided) are held on the inventory of IAF. In order to evade EO guidance sys, R&D to dev smoke generators, which are able to curtain VP/critical asset at the time of air attack, may be considered. 57 mm AD Gun is a single barrel gun interfaced with 702A radar. This gun is frequently developing problem in azimuth motor. An azimuth motor can be designed that can bear the load of traversing uit smoothly.
