To escape the Value Myth, we need to understand that the secret to increasing value to others does not lie in simply cutting prices, or giving out more donuts per dozen, but somewhere else entirely. But if your competition is already adding in all the "extras" that have become standard in your industry, how do you deliver more? The answer can be found in what we call unexpected value. Unexpected Value has three specific characteristics: 1) It's new to your client or customer; 2) It's surprising or unexpected and 3) It becomes a new standard in the customer's mind a client can no longer "go back" to their old service or product.

A New Kind of Value


'Provide great value' has been the rally cry of sales professionals for years. As competition increases, and consumers become more knowledgeable, we're constantly being told to create more and more value. However for those being pressured to lower prices or cut commissions, 'providing more value' can be a vague and frustrating idea. In its simplest form, value isn't rocket science. When you get more for less, there is value. The "baker's dozen", half off sale and the "two-for-one" deal provide value by doing just that. The challenge arises when we believe that cutting prices is the only option for delivering value. When sales professionals believe that value is only about getting things cheaper or getting more for less, they have fallen prey to the Value Myth

Every seller wants their home to sell fast and bring top dollar. But what if you walk into the house and the first thing you notice is grungy grout even if the floors are clean? Its usually that grungy dirty grout look that can turn a customer away from a potential home purchase. Clients that use dish soap for cleaning their ceramic floors have no idea theyre creating a static absorbent in the grout that attracts and holds the dirt. Most houses dont have their grout sealed so it gets dirty very quickly even with kids socks tracking in the house the grout absorbs the dirt and cause it to discolor. So whats the answer? Clean your grout on a regular basis & seal it...if its a new home have your contractor seal the grout or hire a professional cleaning company to seal your grout for you.

When your tile grout is completely clean; keep it looking irresistible by applying a coat or two of grout sealer. There are various types of grout sealers available for different uses, such as floors or bathroom tile. Make sure you purchase the correct type for your floors. Reapply the grout sealer at least once a year, or more often if necessary. If you think this is a lot of work, it is, but well worth it! If you dont have the time and you want to hire Maid-Mart to clean and seal your grout they use a commercial eco cleaner that really works and buffing machine and brushes with real man power.
