Two special guest will be in our worship services this Sunday.

During the Sunday Morning worship services you will be introduced to Dee Humphries. Dee is leading our Wednesday Night Youth Worship Service. He is not a candidate for Youth Minister but a layman who feels called to share with the youth of this community. He will attend the 8:30 and 11:00 AM services for you to meet him this Sunday. This Sunday evening our own Amy Warr will be with us to share about the ministry God has called her. Amy is a missionary with Camp Victory in Alabama. She leads children's ministries at the camp and does released time Bible Studies at various schools. Having grown up in First Baptist Church many of you will remember her. At the close of the service a special love offering will be taken for Amy and her ministry. Those are only two of many great reasons to be in Sunday School and Church this Sunday. I look forward to seeing you then. Paul

AED
At first glance, we non-medical folks might think this is a fraternity of sorority at the University of Georgia! AED is an acronym for Automated External Defibrillator, a portable medical device which may be used to aid in CPR, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. First Baptist has been blessed with a generous gift of two of these units. One unit is located in the Shell Annex ground floor elevator area, and the second is in the Fellowship Hall near the coffee service area. Some deacons as well as our medical professionals are authorized users. Please contact the office if you are interested in receiving training with this special life saving device.
