    PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with Galloway Township Code Section 273-13, those residents who bag their leaves must now use biodegradable paper bags*; not plastic bags. Bagged leaves are preferable to raked-to-the-curb leaves, which can blow away and clog storm drains. Please do your part to reduce Galloways carbon footprint and consider bagging your leaves in biodegradable PAPER bags.

    RAKE YOUR LEAVES TO THE EDGE OF YOUR PROPERTY PROPERTY NOT IN THE ROADWAY
    Raked leaves must be fully accessible; away from utility poles, mail boxes, and parked cars.

    Leaves must be raked out curbside by Sunday night the week of your scheduled collection.

    We will leave bags or piles of leaves that contain these items .

    RESIDENTS MAY BRING LEAVES & GRASS CLIPPINGS TO THE GALLOWAY ROAD COMPOST FACILITY Hours: WEDNESDAY WEDNESDAY-SATURDAY, 8 AM to 2:30 PM

    REMINDER!! GALLOWAY LEAF COLLECTION IS GOVERNED BY THE NJDEP STORM WATER REGULATIONS

    mower that will leave grass clippings on the lawn (this practice is GOOD for the lawn). If putting out leaves for our municipal collection, make sure that you follow the proper schedule and either bag the leaves in biodegradable bags* or pile them as far as possible away from any storm drain.

    Galloway Ordinance # 1787 states: Yard waste that is not containerized shall not be placed closer than 10 feet from any storm drain inlet. Compost yard debris whenever possible and use a mulching

    *Biodegradable leaf bags can be purchased at Galloway Ace Hardware, ACUA and Home Depot

    REMINDER: If our leaf vacuum truck has made a pass on your street we will not return until the next scheduled collection. Delays due to inclement weather may affect scheduled collection dates.
