This hearing was held to provide the Board with an update on settlement
discussions on an application by GCD Trustee Limited (Applicant/Appellant) for a
Zoning By-law amendment and site plan approval related to a property north west of
Gerrard Street East at Clonmore Drive in the City of Toronto (Subject Property).

Counsel for the Applicant/Appellant informed the Board that discussions between
his client and the City of Toronto (City) have been ongoing since November, 2008 and,
while some progress has been made, a settlement has not yet been reached. He said
he could not say with certainty that one would be reached. He asked for a five-day
hearing on the applications to be scheduled “as early as possible”. Counsel for the City
