Help During Times of Trouble We are born into trouble Trouble does not come to us by accident, it does not

come from the dust or spring up out of the ground. Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; Job 5:6 Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward. Job 5:7

When trouble happens you need to commit your cause to God To often we try to solve our troubles by hiding them, allowing them to overwhelm us or to self medicate them away. It is important that we keep a conscious awareness, speaking it with your mouth that God can help you solve your troubles and even solve them for you which means when trouble comes your way it's time to pray and give God your troubles so that your problems do not overwhelm you. I would seek unto God and unto God would I commit my cause; Job 5:8

God can be your refuge help you overcome trouble & keep you safe if you believe that He can You must believe that God can do unlimited great and marvelous things that can solve your problems and relieve your troubles. Think of His awesome power for a moment, He makes it rain on the earth and waters the fields, He created us, the world and everything in it, so doubting His power today-does not make sense. God did not stop having the power to do things-people just stopped believing that He did because they were swayed away by the untrue beliefs of others. God can bring the lowliest person to the highest place of safety offering refuge for you and yours when you are oppressed, depressed, grieving and in trouble. Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number; Job 5:9 Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: Job 5:10

To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety. Job 5:11

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalms 9:9

If you put your trust in the Lord, seek Him, praise Him, and tell others about Him-He will not forget or forsake you in your hour of need And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Psalms 9:10 Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion; declare him on the people his doings. Psalms 9:11 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble. Psalms 9:12 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death. Psalms 9:13 That I may show forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation. Psalms 9:14 Speak wise word with your mouth, keep His laws in your heart and He will guide your steps The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. Psalms 37:30 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. Psalms 37:31

Wicked people will try to destroy you but the Lord will not allow that to happen if you wait for Him and keep His ways Wicked people are always watching the righteous looking for ways to destroy you but the Lord will not leave you in the hand of the wicked, nor will the Lord condemn you. Wait faithfully for the Lord, keep His ways and He will lift you up to inherit the land, the wicked will be cut off, and you will see it. (c)2013. Rev. Penelope M. Dean. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. Psalms 37:32 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. Psalms 37:33

Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. Psalms 37:34

Even when it seems like the wicked have become powerful do not believe it because the wicked will be destroyed and God's upright people will have peace in the end. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Psalms 37:35 Yet he passed away, and lo, he was not; yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Psalms 37:36 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. Psalms 37:37 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. Psalms 37:38 The Lord is your salvation and strength in troubled times. He will deliver you from your troubles if you trust in Him But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. Psalms 37:39 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. Psalms 37:40 The Lord will hear your cry, lift you out the horrible pit, and set your feet on solid ground (rock) I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. Psalms 40:1 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. Psalms 40:2 (c)2013. Rev. Penelope M. Dean. Sing songs to the Lord, praise Him, put your trust in Him and you will be blessed And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Psalms 40:3 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Psalms 40:4 God is your refuge, your strength and your help in times of trouble God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea: Psalms 46:2 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. Psalms 46:3 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. Psalms 46:4 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. Psalms 46:5 Pray every morning and ask the Lord to be your salvation in times of trouble O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee, be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
