Ozone is a highly reactive gas composed of 3 oxygen atoms. It is present in atmosphere in form of a thin layer and it affects the life on earth in many ways. Ozone is formed naturally and it extends from approximately 6 to 30 miles above earth's surface and reduces the amount of Ultra violet radiation that reaches the earth surface. O3 (ozone) cannot be stored and is non-transportable, which requires to be produced at the site where it is to be used. Therefore, there is a need to produce it manually so that it can be used in various applications. O3 (ozone) may be produced through artificially by various sources such as electrical equipments, electrolysis, air purifiers, electrical discharges and electromagnetic radiation. As it is highly reactive it can be used with a few materials, such as glass, aluminum, stainless steel, etc. Weibers ozone generator is ideal for scientific and research applications.
