    RES -Renewable Energy Sources includes Small Hydro Project(SHP), Biomass Gas(BG), Biomass Power(BP), Urban & Industrial waste Power(U&I), and Wind Energy.
    The installed capacity figures as on 30.06.2010 in respect of RES is based on statement dated 02.11.2010 from Ministry of Renewable Energy(MNRE) where cumulative Grid interactive power installed capacity has been indicated as 17174.60 MW. Reconciliation of installed capacity of Hydro capacity resulted in transfer of 135 MW from conventional to SHP-RES and retrieval of installed capacity of 67.20 from SHP-RES to conventional Hydro has resulted in net addition of 67.8 MW to SHP under RES. under Also 30 RES.Also MW of capacity 30 MW of in capacity the nature in of the Waste nature Heat of Waste Recovery HeatPower Recovery Plant Power at Goa Plant Energy at Goa Private Energy Limited Private under Limited U&I category under U&I of RES Out of this installed capacity due to wind - (374.636 MW) and small hydro (110.79 MW) appearing in captive has been deducted to arrive at installed capacity of utilities inutilities respectin of respect RES. captivecapacity capacity has been deducted to arrive at installed capacity of of RES.
