Fans Can Win Tickets and Prizes Through AT&Ts Why I Pledge Contest
CHICAGO, Sep. 30, 2013 AT&T and the Chicago Blackhawks are teaming up this season to promote the It Can Wait campaign and spread awareness about the dangers of texting and driving.

From Tuesday, October 1, through Wednesday, November 27, Chicago Blackhawks fans can enter AT&Ts Why I Pledge contest through the website www.WhyIPledge.com/hockey to submit personal stories about their decision pledge to never text while driving. Winners will be announced on Friday, November 29. The Grand prize winners will be selected by a panel of judges based on their submissions. Submissions will be judged on how well the submission uses emotion, creatively explains the impact of not texting and driving and originality. We know that many Blackhawks fans drive to the United Center to see the games and we want to remind them to never text and drive, said AT&T Illinois Vice President and General Manager Dave Fine. We are pleased that the Chicago Blackhawks have joined our campaign to spread the message that no text is worth dying for. We are excited to partner with AT&T and the It Can Wait campaign to help increase awareness on the dangers of texting and driving and change behaviors, said Chicago Blackhawks Executive Vice President Jay Blunk. We appreciate our fans and hope efforts like this will help keep them safe on the roads.
