Match sentence parts to form complete sentences 3. Copy down sentences correctly and in legible writing 4. 1. Pupils watch a video clip: We are going to watch a video. It Lesson Plan Writing: Fishing Activities 12345. is called 12345. 2. Teacher replays video clip and asks pupils to sing along to the nursery rhyme. 3. Teacher asks what pupils saw in the video clip. This time, I want everyone to try and sing along to the sing.
What did you see in the video clip? What was the boy doing? What did the fish do?
Pre-writing ( 15 minutes)
1. Teacher explains that pupils will learn about fishing and what it means. 2. Teacher presents information using a PowerPoint slideshow. 3. Pupils read out the words/sentences out loud. 4. Pupils complete Worksheet 1. They must fill in the blanks with the names of the objects they have learned about.
Now, I want you fill in the blanks with the names of the people and object that we learned.
While-writing ( 20 minutes)
1. Pupils are given Worksheet 2. 2. They are asked to match the sentence parts to form complete sentences. 3. Teacher checks answers with pupils. 4. Pupils are asked to re-write the complete sentences in the space provided. 5. Pupils are given Worksheet 3 and asked to repeat the same activity.
