Oct. 7, Mon.-Community Prayer at Reamstown Church of God at 7p.m. Oct. 9, Wed.-JGA, JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Menn.

Church from 7-8:30. JGA will be having a campfire, smores, and singing. JBA will have a games and skills night. Oct. 10, Thurs.-Patrick Erben presents Love, Language, and Differences among Pietist and Quaker Immigrants in Early America at 7:30 p.m., at Elizabethtown Colleges Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies. Erben will trace the radical reformist ideas that compelled early modern Protestants such as William Penn and Francis Daniel Pastorius to conceive of the new colony of Pennsylvania as a spiritual community across differences in language and religion. Oct. 11 & 12, Fri. & Sat.-Hinkletown Mennonite School Benefit Auction-The theme is The Great Outdoors with many different outdoor recreation and gardening items along with traditional quilts, collectibles and much more. Fri: Pork BBQ dinner (dine-in or drive-thru) from 4-7 p.m., live auction 7-8:30 p.m.. Sat: 9 a.m. auction startspecial outdoor items at noon, quilts at 1:30 p.m. Food served all day.
