Key Strengths
I am very self-motivated, and always work hard with a positive attitude. I am very logical and have good analytical and problem solving skills, as shown through my excellent results so far throughout University. Teamwork and leadership skills - developed throughout my degree by working on various team projects, and also in my previous position working at a restaurant, where it was critical that we operated as a team to ensure everything ran smoothly. I am also Vice President of the Mechanical Engineering Society, and have been helping to coordinate various events. I attended the 2012 S4S National Student Leadership Conference, and also regularly volunteer at University working in a team to run events at university. Excellent communication skills - as an active member of Unicrew, a volunteer organisation at university, I am required to regularly communicate with large groups and individuals when running events and taking photos at various functions. Effective communication is critical in team projects so far throughout my degree, and was also very important throughout my time working in the hospitality industry. Good understanding of a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Office, Matlab, and CAD Programs Creo and Solidworks. High level of physical fitness.
