A missionary writes, Much of our IMB work in the Western Med Cluster is seeing small amounts of growth. However, it is not enough. Pray that in 2013, there will be an amazing work of the Holy Spirit and that the tiny groups meeting in these countries will explode with growth so that more Spaniards, Portuguese, French, Belgian, Dutch, Italian, Maltese and British people will be rejoicing around the throne one day in heaven!

I am the Area Coordinator for the Piedmont Area team and we cover Pittsylvania, Franklin, Halifax, Henry, and Patrick Counties. I have been packing shoe boxes since 1999. I got the opportunity to distribute shoeboxes in Uganda in April of this year. Imagine that a girl from Gretna, VA going to Uganda! I would love to tell you my shoebox stories!! Immediately he put in a call to the professor who had taught pastoral care in the seminary. After telling the professor his name, he said desperately, "Phil, what do you do at a funeral?" The teacher reminded him that they had covered the topic in class. "I know we did," the novice answered, "but this guy is really dead!"
