PROJECTS:

Active Power Injection and Static VAR Compensation using Photovoltaic fed Multilevel inverters :( on going) The topology of Active power filter & Static var Compensation is used for active power injection with multilevel inverters, in which photovoltaic cells are used as DC source. So far, I have designed a 27-level multilevel inverters using pulse width modulation technique and design optimization is under process.

STATCOM Control Scheme for Grid Connected Wind Energy System for Power Quality Improvement: The power quality problems at the point of common coupling due to installation of wind turbine with the grid are mitigated using STATCOM with battery energy storage system (BESS)

The battery energy storage system is integrated to sustain the real power source under fluctuating wind power.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Presented 8 papers in various Technical symposium events. Active participation in GD`s and Debates. Stood as the student coordinator for the events FINEX2011&2012 held at SVVSN Engineering College.
