INTRODUCTION:
Usha Breco Limited (UBL) was established in the year 1969 as a joint venture between Usha Martin Industries Limited, India,the largest wire rope manufacturers in Asia and British Ropeway Engineering Co. Ltd. (BRECO), U.K. With High level of expertise in the field of Passenger Ropeways, Cableways and Industrial Ropeways and by adopting best prevailing Design Engineering and Modern Techniques in Operations and Maintenance, UBL has emerged as a leader in the field of Aerial Ropeways in India. The Company takes pride in having chosen development of green field ropeway projects and the operation and maintenances of ropeways, as its key business activities. The company has developed a good vendor base all over India for manufacture of Ropeway components. UBL has a qualified and experienced team for operation and maintenance of Passenger Ropeways. Usha Breco Ltd continues to be accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certifications from DNV, Netherland and the first company in India to achieve such accreditation in this field. UBL has designed and built numerous transportation alternatives for Men & Material in India & abroad. Usha Breco Limited was established primarily as a ropeway engineering company. The Company proceeded to execute a number of industrial Ropeway Projects up to early nineteen nineties. Later, the Company gradually evolved itself into a passenger transportation company, as it realized that there was ample scope for various transportation systems including transportation by road and Passenger Ropeways on BOOT basis. It designed, constructed and commissioned its first passenger ropeway to Mansadevi Temple at Haridwar in 1981, the first ropeway BOOT project in the country. UBL has a dedicated and well experienced technical team for Operation & Maintenance of Ropeways and presently owns and operates Six Passenger Ropeways in Indiaon BOOT basis. Maa Mansadevi Temple is one of the most important temples of the North India and is the most important destination along with Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. Maa Mansadevi is known as the wish fulfilling goddess. Located on top of the Shivalik hills, Mansadevi temple is one of the most ancient and Famous Sidhpeeths (holy places where ones wishes are fulfilled). Mansadevi along with Chandidevi and Mayadevi form a sidhpeeth triangle in the holy city of Haridwar. Every year, millions of devotees visit temples of Maa Mansadevi and Maa Chandi Devi.

Maa Kalidevi Udankhatola, Gujarat, India History:
Maa Mahakalika Temple, a famous Hindu and Muslim pilgrim centre, is located at Pavagadh in Panchmahals District. Situated amid dense forest cover on a cliff, the temple is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peeths. Legends have it that, the right toe of Goddess Sati, fell here. The holy complex is divided into two parts, on the ground floor, the idol of Goddess Kali is seen and the top part, shrine has a Mazar (tomb) of a Peer, sacred to Muslims. Tara Tarini temple is on at Kumari hills on the bank of Rushikulya. The Twin Goddesses Tara and Tarini are worshiped at the temple as manifestations of Adi Shakti. Mr. PrashantJhawar
Prashant is a second generation entrepreneur who joined Usha Martin the family business as a trainee in 1982. Serving in increasingly progressive capacities at the organization, he has handled complex responsibilities over the years. Prashant was instrumental in listing Usha Martin on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange in 1994. In the same year, he founded Usha Martin Telekom, a GSM cellular network provider, in partnership with Telekom Malaysia and other international investors, from which he successfully exited by trade sale to Hutchison Whampoa.

Mr. Rajeev Jhawar


Mr. Rajeev Jhawar serves as the Managing Director of Usha Martin Limited, which has diversified interests in wire ropes, telecom cables. Mr. Jhawar is a second-generation entrepreneur and has vast experience and expertise in management of conglomerates. He has been Vice Chairman at Usha Martin Education & Solutions Limited since September 2010. Mr. Rakesh Sharma
Mr Rakesh Sharma has been associated with Usha Breco Ltd since October 2000. He brings with him expertise in the matters of organization, strategy, tactics, training, motivation, morale and tenacity. Rakesh has been the Executive Director of the company before taking over as its Managing Director. With twenty six years experience in the Indian Armed Forces, Mr. Sharma has the ideal mix of maturity, understanding, foresight and aggression. Besides attending numerous relevant command and management courses at middle and senior level in the Armed Forces, he has obtained Masters Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the premier Symbiosis Management Institute in Pune, India.

Mr. S. K. Barasia
Mr. S. K. Barasia, Director, is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India. He has over 50 years of experience in Accounts, Finance and Administration. He is on the Board of Directors of several companies and presently serving as the Whole-time Director of Usha Martin Ventures Limited. Mr. Barasia started his career in the year 1955. He had worked with HINDALCO from 1962 to 1974 as Accounts Executive. Later he joined Usha Martin Group in the year 1974 and still associated with the same group in various capacities and in different companies, last being with Prashant Investments Limited as Managing Director. Then he retired and again joined as Whole time Director in Usha Martin Ventures Ltd in the year 2007.

Mr. Pranay Vakil


Involved in real estate business for over 25 years with basic education and training in Accountancy (CA) and Law (LLB).Presently, the Founder Chairman of Praron Consultancy (India) Pvt. Ltd., a consulting organization, involved in Real Estate. Earlier, Founder Chairman of Knight Frank in India, having set up the joint venture in 1995 with Knight Frank UK, a leading international property consulting firm, having retired on September 30, 2012. Earlier worked as Executive Director of Raychem in India (California based Fortune 500 company) and with various TATA Group companies including Tata Textiles, TCS and Tata Sons, for over 15 years.

Mr. Arun Seth


Mr. Arun Seth has been the Chairman of India Operations at Alcatel-Lucent, S.A. since July 2011. Mr. Seth served as the Chief Executive Officer of British Telecom in India with responsibilities for the SAARC region. He served as a Senior Vice President in the UB Group in their Corporate Management division in Bangalore and Delhi. He headed the commercial operations of Unitel Communications, the Telecom arm of the UB Group for five years. He has previously worked with HCL and United Breweries. He worked for BT Group in a variety of positions over 14 years, having set up the BT India office in 1995 as the First Country Manager. He set up the JVs with Bharti in mobiles, VSATs and internet. With over 30 years of commercial and technical expertise in the IT and Telecom Industry in India, he is a regular speaker at seminars for Telecom and IT Currently on the board of Jubilant Foodworks (Dominos), Cadista Pharmaceuticals (in USA) and Centum Learning, (a Bharti Group Co.), Balmer Lawrie (a PSU). He is also on the Advisory board of TERI and TERI University and co-chairs the Business Council for Sustainable Development for TERI. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta he has worked in senior commercial positions in the UB Group, HCL etc.
