Note from the Nurse

Please remember to use the following guidelines when deciding whether or not your student may return to school when sick: -Your student must be fever free (less than 100.0) for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications such as Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen. -Your student should remain home from school if they have had 2 or more episodes of diarrhea and/or vomiting within the past 24 hours. -Your student should remain home from school if your student has had any combination of the following in the past 24 hours. (Fever, diarrhea, or vomiting.) Please remember to bring a doctors note if your child is diagnosed with an illness that says when your student may return to school. Hand washing is still the easiest way to prevent the spread of germs! Thank you in helping us keep all of our Smith Sharks healthy!!
