(SIP) Dear Mr. Aldecoa: Now on its 40th year, the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program (SSEAYP) will once again celebrate its commitment to further youth development and empowerment among Japan and ASEAN countries. The Batch Dugong Dakila, the official Philippine Contingent to the 40th SSEAYP represents twenty eight (28) youth ambassadors and one (1) national leader selected from all regions in the country by the National Youth Commission (NYC). They will have the same opportunity as the past SSEAYP batches to foster friendship and greater understanding among youths from Japan and ASEAN countries, and to broaden their international outlook. They will be on board the Nippon Maru for fifty-one (51) days from October 28 to December 16, 2013 and will have ports of call in Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Singapore and Philippines. In the spirit of SSEAYP, we would like to ask the assistance of all past SSEAYP batches in our delegation preparation and Pre-Departure Activities (PDA) scheduled from September 27October 27. We would greatly appreciate a possible dinner sponsorship from the SSEAYP-PPY Batch 2003 in any of the dates during our PDA. We would also like to request any official photos of your batch for inclusion in our National Day Presentation (NDP) Exhibit on October 19 (Saturday).
