Seismic factor and detailed uniform loads shall be as per doc. no. SEL-PROJ-425-2011 5.3.14 Flange leakage check criteria The Flange leakage criteria in the Job shall be applied as per clause 2.7.3 of EDB Doc No. 6867-00-16-43-DB-01 REV B (Page 20 of 41). 5.3.15 Flanges Connection node shall be indicated at the flange joint position with ANC & C Node to get restraint output for the flanged connection. 5.3.16 Support restraint Nodes shall be indicated at each support point and loads from restraint output shall be marked on stress isometric as per clause 5.0.11 of EDB Doc No. 6867-00-16-43-SP06 REV 0 (Page 12 of 24). 5.3.17 Column temperature profile Column profile shall be prepared, considering all the inlet and outlet system temperatures, however skirt will be at atmospheric condition. 6. 6.1 PIPE STRESS ANALYSIS Piping Code All flexibility analysis of process piping shall be according to ASME/ANSI B 31.3 (the process Code of latest edition). Steam, Boiler feed water and condensate lines falling under the purview of the IBR shall be designed as per IBR. 6.2 o o o Load Combinations Load combinations as defined in the Job File shall be used as a minimum. This includes: Pressure, weight, temperature, wind, Seismic etc. Slug loading, Safety Relief Valve blow off, standby and other occurring loads shall be considered if applicable.

For lines connected to Compressor equipment/Pumps, start up and shut down load cases are to be considered (hot/cold situations) Hydrostatic/Pneumatic test case to be considered for all lines wherever applicable.

Load Case Consideration Sustained load case o o Design pressure as specified in the line list for individual lines will be used within piping system weight analysis. Weight of piping system components will be taken from Caesar II software library. Number of thermal cycles 7000. Sustained + Expansion loads + Equipment displacements. (if any). Highest stress value < 70% of allowable stress value. Highest stress value < 80% of allowable stress value. If liberal stresses are used, highest stress value <75%. o Liberal Stresses may be used for new lines only, not for existing lines. Steam out case o o o Steam out temp. will be applicable as per Clause 2.7.3 of EDB Doc No. 6867-00-1643-DB-01 REV B (Page 19 of 41). In case line Design temperature is above steam out temperature, steam out case will not exist. Lines should be steam out along with equipment (As per standard engineering practice).
