HALOPIN mini mains voltage halogen lamp

Brilliant technology direct from the inventor: OSRAM HALOPIN

OSRAM continues to set trends with the HALOPIN, a highly innovative alternative to the ordinary light bulb. This mini mains-voltage halogen lamp does not require a transformer and is only slightly larger than a 12 V pin-base lamp. We also developed the new G9 plug-in base/holder system which is extremely easy to use and which is now in use throughout the world.

Outstanding quality: safe, innovative and compliant

HALOPIN is fully dimmable, made from UV-FILTER-quartz and can be used in unshielded luminaires to IEC 60598-1. It even meets the strict safety requirements of IEC 60432-2. Some high-voltage halogen lamps available in the shops have a high risk of bursting, whereas the HALOPIN is switched off gently and safely at the end of its life by an integrated cut-out circuit.
