COURSE REGULATIONS AND POLICIES/

Attendance /
It is widely known that there is a strong correlation between regular attendance and good performance
in a course. Therefore, regular attendance is required. Punctuality is also very important. It ensures
courtesy towards the rest of the class.
,
. .

.
If a student is absent from a lesson, they must make sure that they get any material missed in
addition to finding out any assigned homework./
,
.
Lack of preparation for a lesson and poor attendance will put students at a serious disadvantage
with regard to course results because class activities are an integral part of the learning process

and it is very difficult to compensate for lost class time./

,

.
.
Please note that in order to get the Attendance Certificate awarded at the end of the program
a student needs to attend at least 80% of the course contact hours./
,
80% .
Exams and Tests /
Students must attend all examinations/tests. Failure to do so will result in a zero (0) grade awarded for
the particular examination/test and the students grade will be based on the remaining
examinations/tests. There are no make-up exams, except other than for and after consultation with the
instructor./ /.
(0) (. )
.

/.

All assignments should be typed. Also, assignments must be handed in on or before the deadline. Late
course work will not be accepted, except other than for and after consultation with the instructor.
Accepted late course work will be graded down./
.
. , ,
.
.

Written Communication/
When sending email, write clearly what you wish to ask. Treat email as you would any other written
correspondence. The Instructor wll get back to you in due time, expecting an "instant response" is not
realistic. / .
