Nike have had a double release of the All Court Low with these two dope sneaks. Designed back in the 1970s, this Nike trainer has become a mainstream sneaker for fashion and street lovers alike! Samsung has announced the release of their galaxy digital smart-camera. The device combines the function and performance of a compact digital photography with the interactive capabilities of googles android technology. The 16 megapixel gadget provides a 4.8 high-definition touchscreen LCD screen, that integrates voice recognition capable of controlling a number of functions such as zoom and shoot.

The inclusion of a 21x super long zoom delivers crisp wide-angle photos through its 23mm aperture lens, where when paired using the photo wizard option images can easily be edited and uploaded on-the-go. 2014 Volkswagen Golf Mk7


After four years since introducing the Golf mk6, Volkswagen group has unveiled the latest addition to their hatchback family, the mk7. Using the german automotive companys new modular transverse matrix platform (MQB), the system standardizes conventional internal combustion engines by enabling identical mounting positions in the manufacturing process. This reduces engine and gearbox components variations by up to 90%, enabling the company to apply the platform to their entire Volkswagen line despite each vehicles different wheelbase.

With this, the improved compact five-seater boasts an entirely complete chassis redesign. Along with a new body, powertrain and interior, the exterior styling is updated with narrower front headlights, and rear LED taillights. By implementing a wider track stance and lowering the car 0.8 inches closer to the ground for improved handling and response. The front cabin provides a five-inch touch-screen multimedia package and a re-configured dashboard for a more streamlined appearance.

At almost 220 pounds lighter that its previous counterpart, selective materials dramatically reduce weight throughout the entire vehicle. Combined with an new air conditioning system and redesigned seats, 21 pounds are shed, along with an additional 51 from the MQBs, high-tensile steel frame. the seventh generation golf becomes 23 percent more fuel efficient with the addition of a stop/start system and cylinder deactivation for a fuel economy of up to 49 mpg on its turbo-charged 1.4 liter 140hp gasoline-engine! Getting

to know

the Own

er:

Seventh.Ink is an indie art and clothing brand that is run by one man, Matthew Johnson. It started as a sort of side project from my full time freelance design gig, Seventhfury Studios, so the name comes from that. My birthday is March 7th and seven is also my favourite number, so I wanted to incorporate it into both of these identities. I started Seventh.Ink in October of 2007, so this fall marks the fifth anniversary of the brand. Its really evolved over the years from a simple t-shirt side project to a fully functioning clothing and art machine. As of this year Ive expanded into the realm of screen printed posters, so thats an exciting change that Im looking forward to putting more time into.

When I say that Seventh.Ink is a one-man brand, I mean that all of the art, web design/ development, marketing, shipping, etc., is all handled by yours truly. The only thing I outsource is product production, unless something is an original piece of course. Needless to say, Ive got my hands full 110% of the time. As of 2012, Seventh.Ink shirts are printed using water-based inks. Ive always printed on American Apparel, and nothing has changed there. My shirts have custom printed tags and also include the logo mark on the left arm sleeve to signify my personal touch as a lefty. Although Seventh.Ink is gaining a lot of traction lately, Im inclined to keep it as a side project for now because I like to use it as my release as opposed to the full time graphic design client work I do. I may expand in the future, but for now I really enjoy having a solid connection with my supporters. Seventh. Ink is a very personal brand and I think that people really appreciate that about it.

This fall also marks the third release in the Haunted Collection series. I have three new designs coming out, which are: Lament of the Vampyre, Return to Ashes, and The Fall of Autumn. These designs will be available on shirts and hoodies in limited numbers, once theyre gone they wont be coming back. I also have 20 deluxe boxed sets that will be available, these are engraved wooden boxes that will also include engraved wooden coffin cutouts. Every year I try to come out with something that is unique for people to look forward to. Recently I ran a Kickstarter Project that was successful thanks to great support by fans and friends. Three fun animal designs came from that: Belligerent Bengal, Party Croc, and Wisest Owl. Theyre available right now on shirts and prints along with all of my other work in the Seventh.Ink Store.

So lets get down to the nitty gritty part! Lets get these dope tees reviewed! The next collection from the Seventh Ink crew comes in the form of the Haunted Collection. Perfect timing considering Halloween is just round the corner and it takes horror, puts them on sellable material and the outcome is unreal. Its a true talent, but as you can see Seventh Ink have done it spot on! The haunted collection comes in a group of three insane designs.. the Lament of the Vampyre tee, Return to Ashes, and The Fall of Autumn tee. These three designs have come out of a masterclass of illustration with attention to detail a key to the success of the tees.

We take a look at the Fall of Autumn Tee first; this tee comes in numerous sizes and colour is brown biege. This piece shows a posed woman looking down with a screaming skull background. Its a nice contrast from beauty to hell with the detail and lining spot on! A definite eye turner is you were walking by it.

Next we move on to the dope Return to Ashes tee. This tee design takes a egyptian concept and mix it with a crazy zombie mummy set on fire you get this.. Being dark grey with highlights in light green its a totally unique design and a total change on simple mainstream designs nowadays that simply get forgotten. This is definitely not one of them!

Last but not least and one of our favourite tees of this year so far is the Lament of the Vampyre tee..just the title of this tee makes us drool! The purple, blue combo colouration and the vamp himself with the detail shown is simply unreal. Nice moddy tones and interesting illustration. Two in one! The concept of this tee has got to be one for all you horror lovers. Why not grab this tee and go to halloween in it.. its too rad not to! Overall what can we say about Seventh Ink well we can say its terrifying terrific! The attention to detail alongside the pure talent of the illustrations make these tees a must have in anyones wardrobe!

Three months after releasing the coup version of the car, BMW has introduced its latest collaboration model, the zagato roadster. As with the roadsters predecessor, the convertible has a sweeping hood and long wheelbase, where the driver sits low inside the cockpit. Its front-end design, incorporates BMWs signature kidney grille, complete with patterned z-design grating, where focused twin circular headlights and a three-dimensional front apron shape the front end. Uprawr ventured north to take over their third city, this time hitting Newcastle for the first of a monthly dose of Geordie-rawr, here to get the North proper mortal on their notoriously cheap drinks and bombs. Anyone at the launch must have gone home with pockets full of awesome shit and woken up thinking theyd mugged someone. Big Deal clothing handed out 2,000 worth of t-shirts with Monster Energy throwing out t-shirts, condoms and making girls deep-throat BFCs (Big Fucking Cans) of Monster. NUSU (Newcastle University Students Union) is an epic UPRAWR venue. An 8.2 Million super club with a sound system so loud is makes the ground shake beneath your feet and lights that actually seriously blind your eyes. The place is underground, if the earth moves when I go anywhere I find theyre doing something right. With a near sell out from the Newcastle crowd and a coach load of dedicated Uprawrians from Birmingham this blew a much needed breath of fresh air in to the city. UPRAWR Newcastle is the first Friday of every month at NUSU Newcastle University Students Union.

Getting to know..

Darren Sedge!
Well one of the first things you should never write in a Bio is probably the phrase actually Im not sure what I am, I know who I am and I very much know what I am doing but the what am I is a perhaps a little more difficult and rather confusing. After leaving Notley High School in Braintree I went on to college and studied Building Surveying and Construction finally passing out in 2005 with my National Diploma in Construction. However along the way I had taken up jet skiing having been around boats all of my life jet skiing was supposed to fill in the gaps when it was too rough to get out in the boat and at the age of 16 I had unwittingly set off on

a new path which was freestyle jet skiing. Whats freestyle jet skiing I can hear you ask, well if you have ever watched FMX well its a bit like that but I do it on the water flat water in fact which is why they call it flat water freestyle. From 2009 to 2011 I have won over 27 trophys competing in the British championships and in both 2010 /2011 I finished second in Expert Class and third in Pro. I have been lucky to have a fantastic support team around me and if you had asked me last year what are you Darren I would probably have replied a pro freestyle jet skier but the story is not quite complete.

Jet skiing at the British Championship level teaches you a lot and to succeed you have to learn fast with engines accelerating as fast as a Ferrari you are bound to have the odd breakdown water electrics and engines are just not the ideal mix. Along the way I started my first on line business selling jet ski parts through sedge-jetski.com which still runs today I also decided I needed to build my own jet ski hulls as all the light weight competition hulls come from America so I set off to learn another new skill how to work with glass fibre. I am currently the only person in the UK not just building but riding and competing on his own hulls which I named the Revolution. One of my biggest

achievements at the age of 19 was to be the first UK skier to back flip his ski in the JSRA (Jet Sport Racing Association) British Championship Expert Class Competition and what made it even more special for me was I did it on my own Revolution Jet Ski hull. I also had another ambition and that was to build up my own brand of clothing and in 2010 I launched ATW Clothing (Against the World) why against the world well its not easy out there but you have to keep going you have to believe in yourself and what youre doing whether it be skiing for 2 minutes to get a British Title or selling your own brand of clothing you have to believe in yourself more than anything else and never give up.

I have met some great people over the last few years through the sport of jet skiing, I have some great mentors 5 times world champion Lee Stone who I use to ride with daily, going out to the World Finals at Lake Havasu and meeting another world champion Lenzi and the Japanese riders who really are pushing the limits. These have been great moments and just makes me want to do even better and reach the top. This has continued to be the case through ATW Clothing but now its about hooking up with up and coming bands like London Road and seeing your clothes being worn by celebs on TV is another real buzz and the exciting thing is this list is still growing. I get asked do I get stressed?, how do I have time?, well yes and no I dont really get stressed but frustrated when I am trying to move forward and companies or suppliers dont come back to you for days on end or you have an idea but you just cannot find the right person to help you achieve what you need. Taking my sport seriously I am down the gym working out every day so that is a good stress release plus its helps at times to have a good sense of humour. In my sport I am lucky to have some great sponsors and some real loyal fans without them or the backing of my family none of this would be possible. So what do I call myself Pro Jet skier, Jet Ski manufacture I am already on the third generation of hull design which is to be tested over the coming weeks, or is it web designer as I create all my own websites, or is it cloths designer as I do all that too at this point in time I think I will settle for just calling myself entrepreneur.
