Greetings of Peace! The Xavier University Economics Society, through its continuing effort to bring premier student governance and to foster student empowerment, is pleased to announce The ECOSOC Mid-Year Evaluation Camp and Dinner with Octoberians on 22 to 23 of October 2013 at Hapitanan Beach Resort, Initao, Misamis Oriental. Mid-Year evaluation is a component of the Organization Development block of the Magis Student Award Requirements aiming at assessing the student leaders performance for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2013-2014 and at the same time, giving them the break and opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate through recreational and multi-conventional activities and workshops. This will also be a good opportunity for all of us to plan and formulate painstakingly the societys goals and projects for the Second Semester. Capsuled with this project is the Dinner with Octoberians, wherein we render gratitude, reminisce the good college years and celebrate with them their new milestone as they officially graduate and leave the portals of this institution to venture for new possibilities and opportunities. To help us defray the costs of camp materials, food, transportation and accommodation, a counterpart of Php 150.00 is required of the participants and should be paid on or before the date of the event. You are also asked to bring the following during the camp for your convenience and cooperation: Banig and Sleeping Materials, Drinking Water, Eating Utensils, 3 Cups of Rice, Personal Necessities and Hygiene, Allowance good for two days, Swimming attire and Cloths for two days. To confirm participation, please fill out the pre-registration/ confirmation form and submit to XU-ECOSOC (Rm 207, 2/F Magis Student Complex) on or before 20 October 2013. Confirmation forms may be submitted even without the registration fee yet.
