Tuition
With a masters degree, you can unlock lucrative new teaching opportunities. According to the Digest of Education Statistics 2006, published by the U.S. Dept. of Educations National Center for Education Statistics, teachers with a masters degree earn an average of $113,063 more over 15 years of teaching than teachers with a bachelors degree alone. So you can recoup your degree investment quickly and make substantially more money over your career!

Note: The university reserves the right to change any provisions or requirements. There is a $50 application fee due when applying to Dominican University. Books and materials are additional. Shipping charges for course materials are not included. A graduation fee of $50 is due upon completion of the degree program; this fee covers transcript and graduation processing. Transfer Credits
Up to six semester hours of appropriate graduate-level credits may be accepted at the time of matriculation. Applicants must submit a complete course description along with an official transcript indicating an earned grade of B or better. Academic credit will be granted to international students, when requested, in accordance with the National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
Federal Student Aid You Could Qualify for up to $20,500 a Year Toward Your Degree
Students pursuing a degree online have the same access to federal financial aid programs that are available to on-campus students. To determine your eligibility, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Tuition Assistance
Many school districts recognize the benefit of having their educators continue their education by providing tuition assistance benefits that not only cover per-credit-hour costs but may also cover fees, books and other materials. Contact your district office for details.
Application Criteria
A bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum 3.0 GPA Teaching certificate Transcripts from all colleges or universities attended Three letters of recommendation for the specific degree pursued Statement of Intention $50 Application fee
Acceptance Levels
Full Acceptance will be granted to individuals who have met all of the entrance criteria, including a complete application package, all fees and an undergraduate 3.0 GPA. Provisional Acceptance will be granted to applicants who meet all other admission criteria, but are able to provide only a photo-copy of the degree granting transcript. All original transcripts must be submitted prior to the end of the first session. Conditional Acceptance, at the discretion of the School of Education, may be granted to applicants having a cumulative GPA below a 3.0, but above a 2.5. Applicants must earn a grade of B or better in each of the first three classes.
