EAP Program
The English for Academic Purposes Program is designed to prepare students to succeed in a Western academic institution and study in English. It helps students learn to participate in academic study with skills such as preparing academic papers, making oral presentations, participating in classroom discussions and debates, and conducting research. In this program, students will improve their English to a level that will ensure their success in further university work.

About us
Alexander College is a private educational institution which offers 1st and 2nd year university courses and academic preparation for students wishing to begin their academic career in Canada.

Associate Degree
An Associate Degree consists of 60-64 credits and is typically completed over a 2-year period. These degrees are approved to be offered in BC by the Minister of Advanced Education, and are recognized by many colleges and universities in North America and around the world. These degrees are designed to broaden individual knowledge, provide greater opportunity for success in the workplace, and to lay a solid foundation for further study. Alexander College offers three Associate Degree programs: ASSOCIATE OF ARTS, ASSOCIATE OF ARTS (BUSINESS) AND ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE.

- Completed Application form - Application processing fee (CAD $150) - A photocopy of passport - A photocopy of study permit (if applicable), PR, or other citizenship status - Official secondary school transcript and graduation certificate - Official Post-secondary transcript (If applicable) - Recognized English test results (eg. IELTS, TOEFL, LPI...etc.) - A photocopy of medical insurance

Alexander College is a member of the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT) system and has established transfer agreements with colleges and universities across British Columbia, including the most prestigious universities in the province. Alexander College is continuously negotiating new transfer agreements with major universities in BC and the rest of Canada, as well as with other colleges and universities around the world. The BCCAT transfer systems online transfer guide enables students to check the transferability of the courses they wish to take, as well as develop a study plan allowing seamless transfer between Alexander College and the specific program they wish to complete. Submit in Person: Drop off your application with all relevant documents to an advisor at either of our convenient locations. Your application will be sent to your respective advisor. University Transfer minimum requirements


Completion of a minimum of 24 credits and a maximum of 60 credits GPA of 2.0 or higher Some faculties require higher GPAs for direct entry check with the receiving institution The University Transfer program allows students to complete the first and/or second years of their undergraduate program with the benefit of smaller class sizes and lower tuition fees.
