Exhibits analgesic -mild to moderate pain action by peripheral and fever blockage of pain impulse generation through inhibiting CNS prostaglandin synthesis. It produces antipyresis by inhibiting the hypothalamic heatregulating center. Its weak inflammatory activity is related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the CNS.
