Greetings,

Intro:
W elcom e to another year of FNP! As with past seasons, the 2009/10 season will consist of 12
events. Item s covered include: schedule, honour roll, event details, tournam ent structure, points
form ula, payout, top 20 invitational, and privacy.

Details:

Location - Fitz’s Cafe | 15 A Bentley Ave (off Merivale Rd)

Start Time -Tournam ent start tim e will be 7:00pm. W e will m ake every effort to have the
tournam ents started on tim e. For those who, on occasion, show up after tournam ent has
com m enced; we will do our best to accom m odate, but without confirm ation, there are no
guarantee we will be able to reserve your seat. The bottom line is (a) please show up on tim e or
(b) give advanced notice that you will be late. W ith the sm aller venue, our capacity is lim ited and it
truly does im prove the flow of the action. Thank you in advance for your attention to this point.

Entry Fee - The buy in is $100. One optional top up of $50 will be granted within the first 1.5
hours. One exception to this is the Feb 5th Main Event; it will be a $140 buy-in with a $60 top up.

Tournament Structure:

Starting Chips (*New to 2010) - Buy In - 5,000 chips | Top Up - 5,000 chips

Blinds (*New to 2010) - The first 7 rounds listed below are guaranteed. In the event of tim ing
conflicts, we reserve the right to adjust subsequent rounds to accom m odate a 1:30 am finish.
Note: Notice of any adjustments will always be announced.

FNP Points Formula:


1 st (120 * x) + (Earnings/10)
2 nd (100 * x) + (Earnings/10)
3 rd (80 * x) + (Earnings/10)
4 th (60 * x) + (Earnings/10)
5 th (50 * x) + (Earnings/10)
6 th (40 * x) + (Earnings/10)
7 th (30 * x) + (Earnings/10)
8 th (20 * x) + (Earnings/10)
9 th (10 * x) + (Earnings/10)
10 th (5 * x) + (Earnings/10)

Legend
x = point factor as determ ined by table below
Earnings = Monies won from event.
Point factor
x = 1.5 when # of players <= 30
x = 2.0 when # players between 31-60
x = 2.5 when # players between 61-80

Payout:
# Players => 40 - pays 5 (+ $100 to bubble)
# Players < 40 - pays 4 (+ $ 80 to bubble)

Criteria of a Champion: $5 from each entry fee will be collected to fund the year end prize of 4
days/3nights stay in Las Vegas, NV. The prize will be awarded to the player who has accum ulated the
m ost points after the com pletion of the final event. Should there be a point tie after the final event; the
person who has won the m ost prize m oney over the season will be crowned the FNP Cham pion.
* Disclaimer: Should the monies collected for the year end prize be less than the amount necessary to fund a Vegas trip,
an alternative arrangement will be substituted.

The Top 20 Invitational: The finale ‘T-20' will be com prised of the top 20 point earners from the season.
Exclusive invitations will be sent to those who qualify. (date and buy-in am ount TBD at end of season)
Note: Funds remaining from the FNP Championship purse (Vegas trip) will be used to top up the T-20 event.

Privacy: FNP will m ake every effort to respect your privacy. As a courtesy to your fellow players, we would
request that you please do the sam e. If you wish to be taken off the E-m ail list, please advise. Likewise, if
you have another em ail address you would prefer used, please advise.

Your feedback has played a large role in shaping the structure of FNP as it is today. Because of you, we
are not only able to com pete at som ething we share a com m on passion, but equally im portant, we are
able to do so in an environm ent that is com fortable and enjoyable for all. Thank you and please continue
